"Hunter can I ask you a favour?" I question Hunter from his side in the car. Despite Hunters efforts I stopped off at my house to reassure my mum that I'm ok and get fresh underwear and a pair of shorts on. We picked up Ollie on our way but are currently headed to pick up Tessa and Jack from a couple streets away before we all go to the beach. We probably could have just walked but I think Hunter wanted to drive my car for some reason. "Yes..." Hunter says warily and I laugh slightly. "Well could you like, not kiss me. Until I tell Tess, Zoe and Poppy that we umm...go out." I say nervously and he smiles and puts a hand on my thigh, I feel the familiar buzz shooting through my body from his touch. "You haven't told them?" He questions and I blush, knowing I should have told my best friends who I'm dating. I guess I was just so happy in our little bubble that we created for ourselves. Ollie remains quiet in the back, listening intently. "No...I was kind of happy in our uh...bubble. And forgot." I say and blush, he smiles and I look down at my lap. "That didn't make sense..." I say self consciously and he laughs. "No weirdly, it did." He says and briefly turns to smile at me. "I'm gonna tell them as soon as we are all together but it would be awkward if the way that they found out was because you started snogging my face off in front of everyone." I say and hear Ollie snicker from the back. Hunter laughs, "I won't blow your cover." He says and smiles just as we pull into Tessa's house.

We pick up Jack and head to the beach as its a sunny day. Hunter parks a few streets from the beach as it's very busy and he can't find a parking space. I walk with Tessa and Jack walks with Hunter and Ollie in front of us. "So...how are you doing? Since, you know, Jax." Tessa asks me with a concerned look on her face. I smile reassuringly at her, "I'm doing alright. I'm just glad that he's finally out of my life. Hunter has been amazing with everything." I say honestly and she smiles widely at me. I smile in response just as Hunter turns around to check on me, I guess. I smile at him and he winks and turns back around. "Oh my god what was that?" Tessa asks, grabbing my arm. I smile at her and her jaw drops. "Are you two a thing?!!" She practically yells, causing Hunter and Jack to turn around. I roll my eyes and look at Hunter, he flashed his brilliant grin at me and I wave dramatically before they both turn back around, Jack looking confused. "He's your boyfriend now?" Tessa asks and I look at her. "I'm not allowed to say anything about Hunter and I until the others get here." I tell her with a smile as we near the beach and she beams at me. "So you do go out?" She asks me and I laugh and shake my head. "Please just tell me? Please?" She begs me and I can see that she won't be relenting anytime soon. "Yes. We are a 'thing'." I confirm and she squeals, jumping up and down. "OH MY GOD!" She shouts which causes the three guys in front to whip their heads round, thinking she was in danger or something.

"I told her." I explain to Hunter and he nods his head. "Riiight." He says and I laugh. "Oh my god the body language." She whispers in my ear. I laugh hard, he is turning around so that he can see my face, nothing else but whatever. "So tell me all the details." She says and I tell her everything, from the party to the drunk argument to staying at his last night. By the time I'm finished we are at the beach and have sat down on a wall. "You stayed at his house?" She asks, her voice several pitches higher than usual. "Shh! Yes but we didn't do anything I was just too tired to go home." I explain and she raises an eyebrow at me. "You live next door." She says and I laugh and blush, looking away. "Why didn't you tell me?" She asks and I look back up at her apologetically. "I'm sorry we were just kind of living in our own little world and I completely forgot about telling anyone else." I explain to her and she smirks. "You two have definitely shagged." She says and I laugh and shake my head. "Actually we haven't." I say to her and she cocks her head. "But you've gotten close to?" She asks and I blush and look away, grinning. "Gotten close to what?" I hear a voice say and look up to see both Poppy and Zoe standing over me, looking at me expectantly.

I glare at Tessa who just smiles. "Having sex with Hunter." She says and I stare at her in disbelief. Poppy and Zoe both gasp and squish in on either side of me, I see Brendan talking to Hunter and the other boys beside me. "Explain." Zoe demands and I sigh. I explain it all to them for the second time and they all grin widely when I come to an end. I look at Hunter with a pleading look and mouth 'help me' he sees and starts laughing, causing the rest of the guys to turn around. I duck down so they can't see me between Poppy and Zoe. I can hear them all laughing at my embarrassment as Poppy and Zoe look at me quizzically. "So..." I say loudly so everyone can hear. "Should we actually go to the beach?" I ask and Poppy laughs before standing, followed by Tessa, Zoe and I. The boys follow as we go to find a place to sit.

I feel someone tap me on the back as we walk the length of the crowded beach to find a space. I turn around to see Hunter and I stop so that I can walk at his side instead. The three other boys walk ahead to talk to the girls, leaving me alone with Hunter. "You told them?" Hunter asks, smirking and I smile and nod my head. "Do you have your phone on you?" He asks me and I shake my head, confused at his random question. I put my jacket in the bag with the blankets as its boiling out here. "So that means I can do this..." Hunter bends over and suddenly I feel him lifting me over his shoulder. I scream and struggle to get out of his grip, hearing him laugh as he runs towards the sea. I can hear people clapping and cheering him on, I'm assuming it's Tessa and Ollie. "Hunter don't you dare!" I shout and he sprints into the water in his shorts. I scream as he drops me in the cold water which is a shock but also kind of soothing after being in the boiling weather. "Fuck you." I laugh and he jokingly gasps. "Language! Where's the girl I met that first night?" He asks, smirking and I splash him with water so that he's drenched. He gasps from the shock of the cold on his body. He looks up at me with a face full of fake anger. "You're going to pay for that." He says and I scream and try to run backwards but he snakes his arms around my waist and lifts me into the air, laughing. I wrap my legs round his waist instinctively so he doesn't drop me in and his face changes quicklu to one of surprise. "Sorry." I say and start to untangle my legs from round his waist. He grabs my legs and wraps them back around his waist, holding me up. He smiles and leans his forehead against mine, out of breath from running after me, it's hot. I see him smile mischievously before he drops and we both fall into the deep water. It splashes on our faces and I squeal.

He laughs as he stands back up, droplets of water running down his face making him look like some model. Our foreheads make contact again before we close the distance and kiss. I taste the salty seawater on his lips as I kiss him. I hear clapping and cheering and immediately pull away and turn around to see that the others have made their way down to the sea and formed a small crowd. I laugh and unwrap my legs from round his waist and stand, looking at them shyly. Hunter laughs and pinches my waist on either side, I turn around and shove him playfully. He takes a couple steps back for dramatic effect and grins at me. "Guys. Stop being so cute I might cry." Tessa wines dramatically and I laugh before taking Hunter's hand and walking out the water.
