"—AND THEN THIS GIRL SPILLS HER WATER ON ME!"

chaeyoung goes off for the millionth time that day, but you still listen to her. it was the best you could do after leaving her all alone to eat lunch with tzuyu. but what you didn't know was that chaeyoung wasn't complaining, she just couldn't help talking about the girl she found beautiful.

you two were waiting against the brick wall under the stairs of the school's entrance. you could still hear the chatter of students and their heavy footsteps from above as they rushed to get home. it was sort of relaxing in a way, but not to chaeyoung, she had a short temper.

"so that was my lunch, how was yours," chaeyoung nudged you, raising her eyebrows suggestively.

you grinned at that. after lunch was over you had texted chaeyoung that you had actually spent the period with tzuyu with a promise that you would tell her all about it.

"it was really g—"

however, before you could finish two voices coming in your direction interrupted you.

"how come i have to go, it's your friend not mine," someone whines as they are being pulled around the corner and into the small secluded area under the stairs.

you catch a glimpse of dark black hair belonging to the girl who was whining, while the other girl—who is the first one to come into view—smiled at you kindly, simply ignoring the childish tantrum from the other.

"oppa!" she greeted, happily, resulting in chaeyoung chocking on her spit and you to blush very deeply.

the black haired girl, however had a different reaction.

she smacked tzuyu upside the head, making the younger girl whine cutely. "oppa? why can't you just call him sunbae? you're so extra, tzuyu, god!"

at the sound of the girl's voice, chaeyoung stills, personality completely flipping and changing to her shy persona, something you have never seen, but also something you don't take necessarily take notice in yet as your eyes are trained on tzuyu.

"hey, tzu," you wave at her, eyes smiling. she smiles back at you, walking closer towards you with the dark haired girl's arms linked together.

chaeyoung stops breathing completely, face going paler than what is deemed normal. tzuyu's friend notices, winking at the girl, secretly, causing chaeyoung make herself smaller behind you.

"who's your friend?" you ask, smiling at her too.

the dark haired girl looks you up and down before looking at tzuyu. they seem to have an unspoken conversation that leads tzuyu to blush a crimson red.

"i'm dahyun," dahyun outstretches her hand for you to shake, which you do, introducing your self. "my name is kai, and this is chaeyoung."

you step away from chaeyoung, so that dahyun can get a good view of her. however, chaeyoung sticks back to you like glue.

you can't help but chuckle a bit at your bestfriend's behavior. "chae, go and introduce yourself," you say, pushing her towards dahyun as she stumbles a bit to catch her footing.

"ch-chaeyoung, that's name my," she struggles with her wording, ears turning dark due to her embarrassment.

dahyun laughs, wrapping an arm around the girl's shoulders. "so cute," she coos.
