THIS TIME AROUND it was tzuyu who paced around the room.

she was doomed.

chaeyoung and dahyun, who were leaning against the headboard, watched tzuyu in amusement. at times, they would even throw some freshly made popcorn into their mouths.

"what am i going to do?" tzuyu asks herself out loud, scrunching up her hair in her small fists.

"you could un-invite him," dahyun offeres. "or we could go hang out together some other time."

chaeyoung slaps dahyun's arm. "it's the four of us or none of us."

dahyun rolls her eyes, but tzuyu made no attention to the two girls. "it'll be none of us once sana, momo, and mina kick kai out."

"well maybe if she had told them that kai was a boy there wouldn't be a problem," chaeyoung defends, moving the popcorn bowl away and standing up from the bed.

chaeyoung puts her hand on tzuyu's shoulder, making the taller girl look down at the other.

"what if you text him and tell him to come in through the window," she offers an idea that makes tzuyu's ears perk up like a puppy.

dahyun gets up from the bed and into a sitting position, bringing her knees close to her chest. "that's a good idea but what about the unnies?"

"tzuyu can say the mystery friend that was supposed to come over couldn't make it," the resolution made the three girls think about the plan quietly.

tzuyu didn't want to break one of the house rules by lying to her unnies, or lie in general. it was something she rarely ever did—never did.

but the lie she would tell isn't that bad right? it's a small white lie that won't really affect her family or her. it's fine. it's not important.

"i'll text him," tzuyu decides. chaeyoung and dahyun nod, going over to the window and unlocking it.

tzuyu picks her phone up, opening the messaging app.

kai🙂

you: hey
i know ur on your way
but text me when u get here
dont ring the doorbell :)

kai🙂: im not supposed to be here
right?

you: we want you here
i want you here
that's what matters

kai🙂: idk tzu
i dont want to get u in trouble
maybe i should turn back

tzuyu looks up at chaeyoung and dahyun, the girls almost cooing at how cute and innocent the youngest of them looks when she looks uo from her phone.

"look," she shows the girls her phone, letting them read the texts between her and kai. "he's having second thoughts."

chaeyoung scoffs. "i would too. this boy bitches about wanting to come and then changes his mind last minute," she takes the phone from tzuyu, dahyun peering over her shoulder. "gives this to me."

tzuyu feels a little nervous at the fact that chaeyoung is running her messages.

what if she says the wrong thing? what if kai thinks it's her?
