you shake your head. "four blueberry muffins, actually."
tzuyu looks up at you, trying her hardest to hide her smile.
"great, okay," the girl yawns again. "you can like sit wherever—holy shit you're hot!"
you blink like seven times at the cashier's comment, not noticing how tzuyu had gone stiff.
"god, shut it, noona, you freaking cougar," the younger boy chastises her. "you're freaking twenty-eight, for god's sake."
with that being said, you and your friends take a seat away from the two strangers, instead choosing a more secluded area to eat, waiting for your blueberry muffins.
"they were weird—," dahyun comments.
but she's cut off with the vibrating of tzuyu's phone.
"oh, sorry," she apologizes, answering right away.
"TZUYU!"
the girl immediately pulls the device away from her ear to save it from going deaf. "u-unnie?"
"where are you, you're ten minutes late?" mina asks, her voice going slightly worried.
"i'm at a cafe, why? what's wrong?" she questions, getting worried herself.
mina sighs, and tzuyu can imagine her passing a hand through her black hair. "nothing just get here, you've got to drop dahyun home too."
you look at tzuyu, questioningly, only being able to hear a faint voice from the other line.
at the same time tzuyu hung up with an 'i love you too, mina unnie' the cashier came, setting the blueberry muffins down.
"i've got to go," tzuyu stands, bowing down. "we've got to go. mina is looking for me."
dahyun stands as well, bowing to you then chaeyoung. "thank you so much."
tzuyu bows again. "how much was it, i'll leave my wallet, and you can give it back to me tomorrow."
you stand, taking the two blueberry muffins and wrapping them in a napkin, neatly and safely for the journey back home. "no, no, no. i owe you, remember. just go home and don't worry about the price, here."
she looks down at her hands now holding the two muffins before making eye contact with you and smiling thankfully.
"thank you," tzuyu looks back at dahyun before looking at you. "sunbae."
"ah, not i'm missing oppa," you tease, ruffling her hair.
she giggles, waving at chaeyoung. "it was so nice meeting you. i'll see both of you tomorrow."
after they both leave, chaeyoug lets out a long breath.
"well, you finally did it, kai," she says. "or should i say oppa."
