(Y/n's pov)

"Just like fire, burning out the way. If I can light the world up in just one day. Watch this madness, colorful charade. No one can be just like me anyway. Just like magic, I'll be flying free. Imma disappear when they come for me.~" i sang. I danced a little, not noticing the hotheaded leader staring. "What are you doing (y/n)?" Heatwave asked,"GAH!!! Heatwave!!!" I yelled at the mech. "Geez... scare a girl why don't ya?!" I said while he laughed. I was the team's helper, doing whatever needed to be done for my family and the bots while they were out saving people. Sure I felt left out but everyone had something important to do, besides me. But I didn't care that much, as long as I helped out. I wasn't one for meeting new people, so I didn't really want to be out saving people anyway. I had horrible anxiety, and meeting the bots was bad. Once I found out that they were aliens... let's just say... I kinda fainted. Yeah... that's how bad it is, but once I got passed the fear it's become nice that their here. After all, they are my friends and do help Griffin Rock a lot. "It's not funny!" I said at the mech,"It is, you got so scared. I'm surprised you didn't see me." He laughed. I blushed,"I hate you so much, all you do is make me embarassed!" I said pouting. "Sorry, I didn't know you-" Heatwave was cut off by an alarm,"Go, Kade will be waiting for you if you dont." I said looking away. "And I hate it when Kade's mad at me." I said quietly. Heatwave sighed and walked off to help Kade and the other important burns family members. I helped clean up a glass plate Kade may have smashed in a fit of rage.

*mini timeskip*

I hadn't heard from the Rescue Bots in awhile, then again I'm not important to help the team in a real way. All I really do is clean everyone's messes while their out saving people, doesn't help I'm not allowed to leave if I have my chores to still do even if I do Kade's and Dani's. I try not to let them know I feel useless, but that doesn't stop me from feeling that way. Just then Kade came running in and hugged Cody, completely ignoring my exsistance. "Don't you ever scare us like that!" He said to Cody, I rolled my eyes and continued my way to throwing away the glass. "Agreed." Heatwave said,"And what did we do?" I asked with venom. The two just walked away completely ignoring me,"Really?! As is I feel useless! Now- I feel... invisible..." I said quietly before storming off to my room. I watched TV, don't know for how long but, all I do know is that i fell alseep. I woke up to a slight knock at my door,"Come in..." I mumbled. A man with deep red hair walked to the side of my bed, I looked at him confused. "Who... are you?" I asked sleepily. "It's me, Heatwave." He said kneeling down to get a better look and my tired face,"What do you want?" I asked slightly waking up. I noticed he started to rub my back, I'm glad your ok... me and Kade had to prevent lava from coming into the firehouse. It threatened you and Cody, I'm just glad to know your alright." He said sweetly. I blushed slightly,"why are you being nice to me? Your supposed to be the bot that hates humans... especially me..." I said quietly and muttered the last bit. "When I almost got melted by the lava I realized how much you meant to me, i... love you (y/n) I understand if you don't feel the same way but I thought it would be best if I told you." The hothead said while blushing madly and not looking at me. "Heatwave... I love you to. I thought you wouldn't like me because I'm useless and I'm human." I said to the mech. Heatwave looked at me in surprise,"Your not useless, you help the team keep the firehouse in order so when their in a hurry they can drop everything and help save people." He said smiling at me,"I've never thought of it that way but now that you mention it, I do feel helpful." I said smiling back at him. He leaned in closer, I smiled at his attempt to kiss me. So I leaned in closer and kissed the hothead, he was surprised but gladly kissed back. We pulled back after a few seconds, both of us a blushing mess. "That was better then I thought it would be..." He said happily. I nodded in agreement. Heatwave got up and walked to the other side of my bed a crawled in next to me, cuddling me close. I looked up at him, his yellow-ish eyes showed me he was in love with me. We fell asleep together, cuddling in our sleep.

*timeskip to morning*

I woke up to an annoying,"Beep beep beep..." I rubbed my eyes and looked at my alarm clock, it wasn't going off. Then I heard Heatwave laugh, "Morning..." He said. "Heatwave! I wanted to sleep in!" I whined. This caused him to chuckle, "Sorry but the glue of this team needs to wake up early." He spoke sweetly. "Fine... I need you to get out of my room because I need to change." I said yawning slightly. He nodded and walked out the door, closing it behind him. I changed into my (favorite outfit) and walked out to go cook breakfast, I was using the stove when Heatwave hugged me from behind causing me to jump and burn myself. "OUCH!" I yelped, Heatwave instantly felt guilty and rushed me to the sink by my wrist and put my hand under cold water. "I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have-""It's fine Heat, don't feel bad. I shouldn't be so jumping all the time." I said,"So... (Y/n) may I ask, may I be your 'boyfriend' in human terms." He said nervously,"I'd sure hope so, I did sleep with you afterall-""You slept with my furetruck?!" I heard Kade yell. My eyes instantly widened and I couldn't look at him. "Chill Kade, all I did was cuddle her. Plus I'm a living being to, so you can't own me." Heatwave said smirking. I blushed and looked away focusing on my burnt hand, my life has just become a living nightmare for both me and my new boyfriend.
