(Y/n's pov)

Today was finally the day, most people would be able to talk- well in a way to their soulmate. You wouldn't actually talk, it was for like a link from your thoughts/feelings to your soulmates. You'd normally have to be 18 or older, today was my 18th birthday and my parents we're extremely excited to find out who was my soulmate. Depending on who you were you'd get someone similar, some girls got other girls and the same but with men. If you were older then your soulmate you'd have to 'listen' everyday to see if your soulmate was old enough yet, not a lot of soulmates would split or argue. So this was an easy way to prevent heartbreak, or so people thought.

I quietly sat on my bed, trying to focus on listen for my soulmate. Nothing happened, i felt kinda saddened by this. I thought I'd be able to find my soulmate finally but they must be younger then me, i felt sad and alone until i heard a deep voice enter my head. 'Are you alright miss?' The voice spoke gentally,'Are you my soulmate? Ok thats a stupid question, or course you are.' I laughed mentally. 'Its not stupid, just the answer was obvious.' The voice said laughing slightly. I smiled happily,'Im (y/n) (l/n), and you are?' The voice hesitated,'Orion, Orion pax.' He spoke quietly. 'Nice to meet you Orion, when will we be able to meet up? I'd love to meet you soon.' I said happily,'Im afraid we cannot meet, its for your safety.' The man said darkly. 'What? Why not are you-' 'It would be best for both of us to ignore each other. Goodbye (Y/n).' The man said before leaving me to my own thoughts. "Why? I only wanted to meet him." I said sadly, i decided I'd had enough of this day and went to get ready for bed. Maybe I'll feel better in the morning.

*the next day*

When i had gotten to the front of school my bestie-like-sister ran up to me and hugged me,"So who is he?!" She asked excitedly. "Oh, his name is Orion Pax but thats all i know. He told me that is would be best if we ignored each other." I said looking down,"Aww im sorry girl, come on lets get inside and talk about other things besides stupid boys." She said smiling sympatheticly to me, her smile made me feel a little better. "So (Y/n), who's your soulmate." My other friend, Jack said,"I don't wanna talk about it." I said. Jack looked confused,"He told her that they should ignore each other, so thats how well it went." Miko said to Jack. I winced slightly,"Whatever, not that I care. I like being alone anyway." I lied, Miko looked at me confused. "What? But everyone can't wait to bee with their soulmate!" I rolled my eyes, I slightly processed what she said. "Everyone who has a soulmate that doesn't push them away." I scoffed after I said that.

*afterschool*.

Miko, Jack, and Raf all got a ride from 'family friends' to go where ever while I just walked home. I felt like I was being followed by someone, so I looked behind me. I saw a red Aston Martin creeping up from behind me, 'Dafuq? An Aston Martin in Jasper? I must be dreaming, no exotic car would be in this little town.' I though,'Get away from that car.' Orion's voice rang in my head,'What?! Why?! And why all of a sudden do you want to talk to me?!' I snapped at him. I heard him sigh,'Just please (Y/n), get away from it. If you do not I cannot guarantee your safety.' His voice rang again. I started to jog away from the car, it continued to follow me. 'Please tell me that your in that car.' I begged to my soulmate,'I am not, but I'm on my way. Get as far out of town as you can, I'll try to help from there.' I nodded and ran as far as I could, once I got out of town a red and blue semi truck pulled up next to me. 'Get in.' Orion's voice said in a hurry. I opened the door and hurried to get into the truck, to my surprise there wasn't anyone. "What the?" I questioned before the truck sped off taking me somewhere. Just then a man fuzzed into exsistance next to me,"Im sorry that happened miss (Y/n), I was a fool to think that you'd be safe without me." He spoke, he sounded really familiar. "A-are you Orion?" I asked cautiously,"In a way, yes i am. My current name is Optimus Prime, i was called Orion Pax back when my home planet was still alive." He said darkly. I scooted closer to him,"So... Your not human, are you?" I asked staring into his bright blue eyes,"Sadly I'm not." He spoke as if saddend. I felt the need to hug the man next to me,"So, i have to ask. What are you?" He looked at me, he had a small glint of fear in his blue eyes. "I'm cybertronain, me and my team were forced to come here after a war had killed out home planet. The war now rages on your planet." He said quietly. I nodded I scooted closer and gave him a sympathy hug,"At least I got to meet you." I said smiling at the man. "Not completely, please get out so I can show you the real me." He said kindly, I nodded before hoping outta the semi truck. I heard metal shifting and hitting against other metal I put my hands to my ears in an attempt to drownd out the noise, when I opened my eyes I saw a gaint red and blue robot that resembled the semi truck I was in moments ago. It lowered it's hand down for me to step onto, I nervously stepped onto it's hand and was lifted to meet it's faceplate. The robot smiled at me,"This is my true self." He said kindly to me. I helped when I looked down to see how high I was, I instinctively cling to the nearest thing. Which happened to be his face, I blushed when I realised what I'd done. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to-""It's fine miss (y/n), it doesn't bother me at all. You were just trying to tell safer." He said smiling at me once more. I nodded in agreement, although I was really just nodding for the heck of it while staring at the giant robot.

*timeskip*

It has been a few months and I had finally stopped being awkward around Optimus, turns out Miko,Raf, and Jack all knew the bots. Though they never expected Optimus to be the one who turned me down, or to be my soulmate to begin with. I hope nothing will come between us, I hope we could stay together forever.

Guys I swear I heard some sort of gunshot, my mom says it's probably airsoft. I doubt that thank you very much. Anyway can't wait to move either way. Anyway night y'all!
