(Y/n's pov)

It's been 3 months. Three, fragging months. Three months since I found out my lovely ex-sparkmate was cheating on me, by now I turned that anger into fuel for fighting and training. With my new team, I felt helpful. When I had asked Optimus to join everyone was sceptical, I mean why wouldn't they be? All of a sudden a Decepticon wants to be an Autobot? But once I told them why they instantly understood and accepted me, I apologized for hurting them when I was a 'con. Sure they didn't trust me at first but I proved myself and earned their trust, it felt nice. Having teammates that wouldn't be rude or mean for no reason, on occasion I'd hear of KnockOut or Starscream. When I first met Screamer while on a mission I could tell he was hurt but he understood why I left, I have yet to meet KnockOut and I intend to keep it that way. "(Y/n)? Ready to go on a mission?" I heard my new leader said kindly, I nodded. "Yeah, let's get this mission done with." I said smiling. I hoped everything would go as I wanted, no KnockOut and no injuries.

*mini timeskip*

I was sent with BumbleBee and Arcee to help find the first relic, I was excited... until I saw an all to familiar red shiny finish. "Scrap... not KnockOut..." I muttered. He then turned to face us and his red optics widened when he saw me, "(y/n)....?" He muttered. I winced and forced myself to look away from my ex-lover's eyes, "Great. And when I was just starting to get over you to..." I said silently. KnockOut walked closer to me, and put his servo on my check. Both of us completely ignoring the fight happening behind us. "I'm sorry I broke your spark, I wasn't thinking clearly and it hurt me worst when I choose her over you." He said setting his forehelm against mine,"I'm done KnockOut, I'm never going to be able to love you again." I felt him tense,"Please, I'm sorry. I'll join you and the Autobots, please. Give me another chance." He said with tears in his optics. I winced at the sight,"Fine... I'll admit, I've never gotten over you. My one secret I kept from my new team." I said, he gave a sad smile and leaned in to kiss me. I gladly kissed him back, he hugged my spinal strut closer to him. I smiled and pulled away. He gave a small whine when I did so,"Don't be like that, you deserve it." I joked. He nodded and hugged me closer. "I-i sorry." He said again, I hugged him back,"Its ok KO I forgive you." I said. He smiled and held me close,"Hey, KnockOut I gotta help my team..." I said noticing the insecticon growling at us. "Let me-""No. You stay, the last thing I need is for you to get hurt. I fight these guys all the time." I growled at him. "Hey! Scrap metal! Come get me!" I yelled at the insecticon. I transformed my servos into blasters and started shooting the insecticon, only for it to hit me and caused me to crash right into knockout. "Ouch..." I muttered,"Let me help." KnockOut said. He transformed his servo into his buzz saw and helped me up. We both attacked, KnockOut ended up cutting it's helm off with his buzz saw. All while he held me close with his other servo, let's just say. We both returned to team prime, and they accepted Knockout. And from there on KnockOut stages by my side.
