I crawled out onto the roof with my bathing suit on underneath my pajamas. I had a backpack with water, my bike cuffs, and my extra clothes. My heart thudded in my chest as I slipped precariously down the roof. I cautiously moved across the edge until I wasn't in view of any windows from my house. I jumped down and fell to my side. I quickly got up and ran to the garage.

I quietly cuffed my bike to the rack and walked slowly and quietly to the pool. The gate was open and I saw Dawn, Miranda, and Casey wandering around. I dropped my bag near the fence and walked over to Casey.
"Where's Lucas?" I asked. He shrugged. I sighed and searched the street for him. Dawn walked up to me with her arms crossed and a smirk on her lips.
"Not gonna swim Foggy?" she asked triumphantly. Though, I didn't get the insult except for Foggy. My nickname was Fog, from my real name Fallon and my love of water and clouds. I smirked back at her and pushed off the fence to walk around. I walked out of the pool area and decided to lean against a tree in an especially shadowy part. I bumped into something and looked over to see Eli. He growled at me and I glared at him.
"Rude, much?" I muttered as I moved to another shadow. A few minutes later Lucas came, dragging Honey by her arm. He shoved her forward and she turned on him and hissed like any good girl would. Her golden-hazel eyes flashed with anger.
"I'm so sorry my sleeping habits are normal, unlike the rest of you" she hissed sarcastically. I backed into my shadow. It's best not to get in an heated argument between a boy and a girl. Lucas scowled. He beckoned for everybody to come.
"I assume everybody knows why they're here?" he said as we drew closer. I shook my head, unlike everybody else. Lucas walked up to me and got very close. He was an inch from my face, his lips twitching as he fought back a smile . I put my hand on his chest and pushed him back a little. He bit his lip to stop from smiling. Then he pointed at the pool. "Dive." he said. I turned to obey but he held me back. "Silently" he hissed. I nodded and disappeared behind the building so that no one would see me. I shed my clothes and jogged to the pool. I climbed up the ladder for the highest diving board. Lucas gave me a slight nod as to assure me this was what he meant for me to do. I dived into the water without a sound and swam deeper. The water soothed my frazzled nerves and my anxious anger. I surfaced gently and Lucas walked to me. He crouched down to not tower over me.
"Would you like to tell me the point of that?" I asked. He gave me a fake smile.
"Splash me, but don't wake the Whites." he said. I raised my eyebrows in question but cupped my hands underwater. I splashed him quietly as I poured the chlorinated fluid over him. He shook his head. "I said splash me."
My anger rose a notch as I tilted my head as if I was trying to get a better look. I smiled and ducked under the water. I didn't bother to take a breath as I swam strongly deeper. I touched the very bottom of the twenty ft. deep part of the pool. The water distorted Lucas' face as he looked down at me.
"She's right, what's the point of this?" I heard Dawn's voice. Lucas turned to look at her but didn't say anything. He turned back to me and nodded once. I closed my eyes and listened to the water around me. It seemed to come alive as I thought about his odd command.
I opened my eyes to a tower of water waiting to crash over him.
I remembered the chill of the night air and didn't want the water to come crashing down on him. The water receded back into the pool. I rose to the surface. Lucas smiled.
"Wimp" he said before his face became solemn as he turned back to the others. "Now we can begin."

"Some rebel Soul, Shadow, and Time Fae are teaming up to form a massive leage of unbeatable force to stop time. They are starting with the human realm and making their way through all nine dimensions. If they succeed they could eventually ruin all universes out there, which is probably what they're trying to do, though why is still unknown. All Fae in our own realm are already defending against the primary army, sent to weaken them. All children Fae and their human caretakers over here are supposed to capture any rebel Fae and help fight the battle here. Of course some caretakers have avoided their training duties..." at this Lucas glanced at me in the pool "and some fae need to be taught how to defend the human race. Before you say anything Dawn- Fallon is not the only one who was denied her training. Other kids are training the other misled ones. We were unfortunate enough to just have the Electricity Storm Fae not know her abilities. Now-"
"It'd be even worse if a Time Fae was denied his talents" Dawn said seducingly. I snorted. Lucas stiffened. I smiled at his discomfort. Then my ears picked up a sound from the forest behind the lot.
"Uhhh." I said. Everyone looked to me and I felt a little left out and uncomfortable. "There's something in the woods" I hissed, getting out of the water.
"No!" Lucas almost yelled. His voice was so harsh I slid back in. He sighed, pacing near me. "If whoever, or whatever, is in there heard our conversation they know everything that I just said. Why they are in there is much more important. Stay where you have power. Stay hidden" his voice lowered at the last sentence. I nodded and dove back into the depths. I sat at the bottom with my head low and my eyes focused on the floor.
"You kids know the center is closed overnight, I could get you arrested for invasion of private property" Mr. White's voice came.I tried to fight back the urge to backsass him.
Emphasis on tried.
I pushed up to answer him. "That's like saying a park is private property, this is a recreational center for people our age, yes, technincally we are breaking rules by coming here during the night but no one ever did tell us we weren't allowed, and you never put rules up. So I don't think we would be considered guilty in court." I said smartly. Mr. White narrowed his eyes at me. He turned and beckoned towards the shadows.
"Come out here Mary" he said. A girl who looked to be in her twenties came out of the darkness. "You teach these kids a lesson for breaking into here, and your friends can help too." at that three other young adults came out of the darkness.
Mary had light brown curly hair and expressive hazel eyes. Her eyebrows and eyelashes didn't match her hair, they were black or dark brown. Her face was angular and preditorial. She folded her arms and motioned to her friends. A woman with curly orange hair and amber eyes smiled and stepped forward. The two men crossed their arms.
Redhead's eyes locked onto mine. She cracked her neck and brought her arms up slowly. Flames ripped across the water. I blinked my eyes and a moist breeze blew the fire out. The girl clenched her fist and the blaze licked at my face. I ducked under and concentrated on freezing the surface over. The water around me cooled really fast and suddenly my head was banging on a thick sheet of ice. I used way too much power with that one. I made the ice crash open and the flames were put out by the freezing water. I came up and smiled. One of the men came forward and motioned at the water. A wave tried to come over me. I froze it in midair and the melted the ice so that I wouldn't be nearly so crowded. The man put a hand up to the air and rain spilled down at me. I twisted my wrist into the air without thinking and a lightning bolt struck the earth in front of him. He stumbled backwards. I glanced back. Casey was sparring with Redhead. Eli was helping Miranda in a battle against the other man. Mary's expression pregressively got angrier. Then she burst.
"ENOUGH!!!" she screamed, throwing her hands up into the air, pointing her fingers at us. At that moment I disappeared from the pool, just like Eli, Miranda, Casey, Dawn, Honey, and Lucas.
