Lucas

I stopped the game. The purpose was to trap all your enemies, last player free wins, but when Casey hurt Fallon...

"She's okay?" Dawn asked when we were back at the house. She was wrapped up in a towel and soaking wet. Miranda had to help me find her in the underground river. Casey nodded, stroking Fallon's hair. She was curled up against him, even though he attempted to kill her.

"How come she's laying against Casey when he was the one who tried to kill her?" Eli asked. I shrugged.

"I didn't try to kill her." Casey growled. "I was attacked and knocked out, and when I woke up my hands were around her neck and I was burning her."

"Sounds like a demon to me." Honey concluded. I looked to her in confusion.

"Why?" Dawn asked my question.

"Well, obviously the demon has an owner, and that owner knocked Casey out. That gave the demon the opportunity it needed to posess Casey's body. The owner of the demon then gave instructions to kill or injure Fallon under any means possible and the demon used Casey's knowledge to use his powers and know how to get to Fallon. What it didn't count on was Casey actually waking up with a demon inside him. Casey was obviously strong enough to banish the demon but he woke up after the demon was killing Fallon." Honey finished.

"It was a good thing that she was strong enough to make that tidal wave or else I never would've woken up." Casey said.

"Did you say tidal wave?" I asked, looking to him.

"Yeah, Fallon made this whole huge tsunami come over him with killer winds joining in." Miranda commented.

"She didn't even say anything, she just glared at me." Casey added in. I was astounded. Fallon had given up on making tidal waves, claiming she would never need to use something as harsh as that. She had only tried it once, and she failed.

"She's stronger than you think, Lucas." Dawn told me. I nodded slightly.

"How though?" I asked. "It took us like a year to master any one of those types of spells."Dawn shrugged. Eli put his palms up. Honey and Miranda didn't respond. Casey looked down at Fog.

"You guys." he said. "I don't think she's asleep." Eli froze for a second.

"No, she is." he assured.

"It's creepy how you can read minds so easily." Honey insulted. Eli shrugged.

"Hey, you can do it too. You just decided never to learn." he said nonchalantley.

"You're so okay with it though! It's wrong to invade people's personal thoguhts!" Honey snapped back. Casey signaled for the rest of us to leave. Dawn and Miranda left without hesitation, claiming starvation and heading for the kitchen. Casey gently picked up Fallon and carried her upstairs. I followed him, listening to the drone of Honey and Eli's argument.

"They should gaurd their thoughts more carefully! If people weren't so trustful and open with their thoughts then I wouldn't be able to read their mind!"

"Oh, Eli" I said to myself. Casey's face outline lifted with a smile.

"What are you doing?" I asked when Casey knocked on Claire's door.

"I think Fog should room with the girls now that the hostility is pretty much gone." He replied.

"Wasn't there only four beds in there?" I inquired. Casey nodded and chewed his lip.

"I guess Eli and I can room with you." He offered. Now it was my turn to chew my lip.

"No, I have a two person bed. A guy will have to room with the girls or her." I said.

"Then it's settled, Eli will room with Fog." Casey concluded. I furrowed my eyebrows at him.

"Why?"

"Well, I nearly killed her so I can't room with her, you've been rooming with her and I think you being in there depletes the whole purpose, Eli is very antisocial except he's calmer with girls, it's obvious he can't room with Honey, and I don't really see the point in moving one girl to room with Eli so that Fog won't have to, that will only cause more hostility." he explained. I nodded.

"But what if we just have me move into your room, Eli and you into mine, and the extra bed goes into the girls' room?" I pointed out.

"It's only one day, and I don't think the girls' room can fit another bed." Casey said. I nodded again.

"One last question." I said.

"Yeah?" Casey asked.

"Who's gonna tell Eli?"

Okay if you didn't understand: Casey and Eli share a two-bed room, Lucas has the double bed, Claire's room has four beds(the reason why will remain a secret till later) and there are no other bedrooms.
