I was taking a nap when suddenly I heard my dad's cursing as he entered the door. But he wasn't alone, behind him was an android, probably something work-related. My dad looked at me, he noticed I was taking a nap because of my messy hair.

,, I'm sorry to awake you, sleeping beauty, but this plastic prick behind me insists me to go with him for another case. " he turned annoyingly at the android behind him.

My eyes fell on the android automatically. He seemed to be scanning me to choose an approach. After a while, he smiled at me kindly and slowly walked over to me.

,, Hello, my name is Connor. I'm an android sent by CyberLife. I'm investigating together with your father. " he said.

I smiled and slowly stood up. I reached my hand towards him for a handshake. He seemed to be confused at first because I bet no one ever did that to him since they thought of him as a machine.

,, My name is Alysha. Thank you for looking out for my dad. It's nice to meet you. " I said gently.

I heard my dad frown in the background. Connor reached out for my hand and we shook hands. Suddenly Sumo, who is our dog, ran towards the Connor to greet him. Connor looked very shocked when Sumo jumped at him and started to lick him. I quickly went to help him.

,, Sumo! Stop it, boy! " I giggled.

Sumo waggled his tail as he let him be and went for a stroke from me. I petted him.

,, I'm sorry, he's always like this whenever he meets someone new. This is his way of greeting. " I reached out my hand to help him stand. He accepted my hand and stood up.

,, It's alright. What a playful dog. " Connor smiled.

I heard dad getting closer.

,,  Alright, you two done being too over-friendly? " he said with his usual annoyed voice.

I giggled at his remark.

,, Yes, dad. " I went to him a bit slowly because of my artificial leg and kissed him on a cheek. He smiled.

,, I'm going over to Mr. Manfred's mansion, I'll be back at night. " I said as I went to gather my things.

,, Alright, but make sure that Markus takes you home and be home before eleven o'clock. I'll be home probably late because of the case. Be careful, love you. " he smiled.

Connor opened the door for me. As I was slowly heading out, most likely walking like disabled, I turned at him.

,, Love you, dad. I'll be home on time. " I smirked.
