After several days have passed, I was still doing pretty badly even though it was slightly better thanks to my dad.
He tried to be with me as much as possible but honestly, he could try as much as he wanted, all I would ever feel was an appreciation for the efforts he made for me just to make me happy.
Whenever I was home alone, I was always reminded of the paper that Simon has given me. I thought about going to JERICHO many times, but I always struggled whether Markus would be happy to see me or would feel even more burdened. I have thought about many ways how to get out of some tension between us, for example, if I would be a burden, I would say that I came to visit Simon.....
Jesus, who am I kidding? Of course I'm going only because of him.
In the end, I decided to go there secretly. The map that Simon had for me was very specific. I had to make sure to tear it once I've found the JERICHO so it wouldn't get into the police's hands. Feeling aware of my own actions, I felt like I was going against my dad, which I was. I just wanted to see Markus and know how he felt towards me.
All the way there I couldn't stop my twirling thoughts of how he's going to react. I was afraid he was going to resent me, send me away or even worse. It felt like I was losing myself with each bad thought that crossed my mind.
Before I stepped into the ship, I called dad to inform him that I might not come home tonight. He was confused of course but I told him I needed some time to think.
Once I've stepped into the ship, there were so many deviants. I felt all eyes on me as I was passing by to find Simon. Well, lucky enough, Simon found me.
,, Aly, you came. " he said happily as he looked at me.
,, Hi, Simon. " we hugged.
As everyone was watching, it made me uncomfortable.
,, Where is Markus? " I asked.
He pointed to a cabin that was stairs away. I went there together with Simon.
Once I started to climb the stairs that were quite steep, I felt slight pains in my stitched leg. Simon stopped and looked at me.
,, Are you okay? " he asked.
,, Yeah, just give me some time for these stairs. " I smiled at him.
He then looked at my leg that looked really fake in my jeans. As if it just snapped with him, he called for someone.
,, North, South! " he called out.
I was confused by the names when suddenly two girls came to the view. They were holding each other's hands which made me smile.
,, What's up? " said girl with a red hat.
,, Will you help her up, please? " Simon asked.
,, Of course! " said the girl next to her.
They both got down to me and slowly helped me up.
,, How did it happen? " asked the one without hat.
,, Car accident. " I answered while smiling at them.
,, Must have been nasty for you, sorry to hear that. " said the one with red hat.
They appeared nicely and so curious at the same time.
When we've reached the cabin, I saw Markus sitting there with hands in his lap together with his head. He looked tired even though he, as an android, doesn't get tired.
I stepped a bit closely to him as Simon, North and South left.
,, Hey. " I said with a smile.
He looked up at me.

His eyes widened in a shock. He didn't expect me here at all. He stood up quickly as he hugged me tightly.
,, I'm so happy to see you. "
I felt my tears spill immediately.
,, You're such an idiot, Markus.. You say you're happy to see me even if you were the one who said goodbye to me that day. " I cried as if to put the blame on him even Though I didn't intend to.
,, I'm so sorry, Aly. But believe me, I had good intentions behind that. I wanted to protect you. " he explained with pained voice.
In that instant, I forgave him. I knew he didn't have bad motives behind it, I knew he was doing that in my consideration which I was happy for.
We talked about what we both did. I said everything that I've felt until then as he was listening to everything. He made sure I felt loved as he showered me with kisses. I felt so much affection from him, it made me feel so happy.
When it was already 11 pm, I met Markus' friends. They were all so nice and I felt so familiar with them even though it was my first time spending time with them.
I spent the night with them there while Simon was talking about how I've saved him. I've had so much fun beside them, they were much better friends than those in real life, they were loyal and not someone who would talk behind your back. I felt so happy.
North and South told us about their story which made me emotional because they both had it hard and the unbreakable bond they both shared was something so beautiful to me, I felt the same towards Markus. When the two of them kissed in front of everyone in the small circle we made, I looked at Markus in the corner of my eye, then automatically at everyone. Everyone in the circle watched them with a smile. They all were clearly happy for them.
I really felt more human with them than with the real people.
I went to sleep to the cabin that Markus was in before I got to him. He put blanket over me as he looked me in the eyes.
,, I love you, Markus. Please, don't leave me ever again. " I said sadly.
He smiled sadly as he stroked my cheek.
,, It was the biggest mistake I've made so far. "
He leaned towards me and kissed me deeply. Then we heard banging on the cabin as we both looked what was happening, but in the glass window we saw South signing a heart sign with her hand while North was laughing beside her. They were teasing us.
Me and Markus giggled as Markus stood up towards the curtains. He looked at them with a sarcastic smile while closing the curtains. We saw both girls trying to reach some small gap but there was none as they left with huge disappointment.
Me and Markus laughed victoriously.
Being around them makes everything better. I wanted to stay here. I felt so comfortable in Markus' arms, I needed nothing more. I fell asleep with a Markus' hand wrapped around me.
