"You haven't changed one bit"
At the sound of his voice, flashes of the last resurface and you xant deny the familiarity that settles within you.
It's been 3 years but this was Jeon Jungkook and though you wanted to deny it...you knew...deep dow... that meant something.
You can't help but smile.
"I'm grown now" you tease his lips with yours and he chuckles shifting his head back slightly before his lips can connect with yours.
"Are you?" he asks tilting his head to the side and you nod.
"As you can see I'm doing great" you say with a shrug and he nods. His eyes travel down your body, down your thighs to your legs before meeting your eyes. You can't help but notice the slight flash of disappointment in his eyes.
"Still out here seducing men" he points and you smile.
"Why, are you seduced?" you ask and he grins before pushing himself away from your body.
"I'm not here to talk about me" he says and you release a laugh.
This was Jeon Jungkook alright, dodging. It's what he did best.
"Dodging my question are we Officer Jeon?" you ask and he narrows his eyes at you.
"I hear you're dating Park Jimin" he says instead and you tilt your head back.
"And?"
"How are things between you both?" he asks sitting on the edge of the table across from you.
"Have you switched your job from officer and investigator to a couples therapist?" you ask getting up from your seat and he laughs softly.
His expression softens as he takes you in "Let's just say I'm worried about you" Jungkook says softly.
He knows how you work and if his suspicions were right you weren't going to open up to him easily, after all Jimin was the man you were dating.
Did you love Jimin?
He didn't know the answer to this question but you were with Jimin which meant your loyalty was to him.
If he wanted answers from you he was going to have to work your way.
"A rich man finally sweeps you off your feet, buys you all these dresses, brings you to elite parties..." he starts and gestures a hand to you.
"He basically made you" he adds and you laugh as you position yourself in front of him.
