It's been a year now since Daichi left to college. And now, I'm about to graduate as well. "Mom, could you stop crying now?" I ask her.

"No, this is the last time I'm going to be seeing you in this uniform. And then you're off to college. You've grown so quickly." She says, sniffling.

"Shouldn't you be glad that I'm no longer in this uniform. You should be excited that I'm growing and that I'm going to have a good life." I said.

"I know, I just can't help it. You're already leaving me." She says.

"My apartment is on the other side of town. It's not that far. Plus, I'm only moving in with Riku. Be glad it's not a total stranger." I said.

"As long as you come to visit me every once in a while, ok." She said.

"Of course I'm going to visit you." I hug her. She hugs me tighter.

"That's great. Now, get your shoes on. You've got a graduation to go to." She says. We both put our shoes on and head outside. We hop in the car and we're off to school.

We get there about over five minutes later. We wait in the auditorium for about an our listening to everyone's speech. Then we receive our certificate and go to the hall and hug everyone goodbye.

"This is amazing. I've been waiting for this my whole life. And it's finally happened. Not we're off to college and we can find a boyfriend and I could finally get my first ever job. This is going to be amazing. And with you around me, it'll be even more better." Riku says, as she pulls me into a hug and spins me around. I giggle.

"Put me down. I'm slipping." I said. She puts me down and hugs me one more time.

"I know I said that I was ready to leave a year again but, I lied. I don't want to leave this place. All my best memories have happened year." She says, a tear sliding down her cheek.

"Hey, don't cry." I said, wiping away her tear. "Just think of all the new memories we could make when in college. It'll be better over there than here. Plus, you'll just end up making me cry if you do." I said. We both laugh and hug each other.

"You're right though. We'll be together throughout the whole thing. And we'll be living together for now on as well. I'm so excited. I'm already think of things to decorate the house with." She says excitedly.

"I'm thinking of the things you'll be stuffing the fridge with." I said. She pushes me to the side.

"Shut up." She said. We both start cracking up. College is going to be interesting. I'm excited for it.
