We and Riku were at home, watching a movie together. Both sitting at the edge of the couch with the bowl of popcorn sitting in the middle. "Honestly, this popcorn needs more butter." She says, grabbing another piece and throwing it into her mouth.

"What are you talking about, the popcorn box said it had extra butter." I said, looking at the box that was on the floor.

"Well, they were clearly lying about that." She says, still eating it. We all of a sudden hear a knock on our door. "I'll get it." I said, sitting up. I walk to the door and open it, seeing Itsuki. "Oh hey." I said with a smile.

"Hey. My mom came by earlier and brought me some cookies. And honestly, I don't think I can finish all of these by myself." He said.

"Why don't you just save some for the next day?" I ask.

"I'd rather share them and gain more wait honestly. So here, take this." He says, handing my the plate of cookies. "Thanks, why don't you come inside. We're watching a movie. Maybe we can all eat these." I said.

"Sure." He said. We walk back to the couch. He grabs the popcorn bowl, sitting on the spot where it laid. He grabs a piece and throws it into his mouth. "Honestly, this popcorn needs more butter." He says. I face palm myself. "I told you!" Riku shouts at me.

"The box said extra butter!" I shout back.

"Well, they were clearly lying." Itsuki said. I face palm myself again. This can not be happening.

"That table over their." Issei says, passing me the bowl. It take it to the table behind me, and smile at the costumer. He glares at me. Such a grumpy old man. I turn away from him and roll my eyes.

"Whatever happened to Nao? I haven't seen her in a while." I ask.

"She went looking for a new job, one that would be closer to her school." He said.

"That's ridiculous. The schools not even that far from here. Plus, if she doesn't want to walk she can take a bus or something. Maybe even ride a bike." I said, poring more water into a glass for someone.

"Well it's her decision. But the good thing is she won't be breaking anymore plates now." Issei smiles. I glare at him and smack the back of his head.

"Don't be mean." I said.

"Big mean is my thing." He said, sticking his tongue out at me. I glare at him. This is why he doesn't have a girlfriend. The door opens. "Welcome." We both say at the same time. We both look at towards the door. There entered Daichi with his friends. They all sat at a table together, Daichi still avoiding my gaze. I roll my eyes and grab a bowl, taking it to another table.

"How's Riku doing by the way? I haven't seen her for quite a while." Issei asks.

"She's great, still a bit weird though, like you, but great. She still eats a lot though I think she had like four bowls of ramen yesterday." I said.

"My kinda women." Issei says, not paying attention. I look back up at him with smirk. "What?" I ask.

"I-I uh-uh, I-I mean, I l-like w-women th-th-that eat a l-lot, s-so-So it's not that m-much of a surprise for me to say that. I-I mean Riku is cute and all but...get back to work you idiot. We're not here to ask question." He says, handing me another bowl. I continue to laugh at him.

"All I'm gonna say is that she doesn't have a boyfriend." I said, he leans over the counter and slaps the back of my head. I stick my tongue out at him.

"As punishment, you're going to hand theses bowls to that table." He whispers to me, I turn around to see the Daichi and his group of friends. "Please don't make me do this, Issei. You about what happened." I whisper.

"Do this and I'll but you a new camera for your birthday." He says.

"Deal." I grab the two bowls. Wait. What did I just do!? Why did I just do that!? "I hate you Issei." I mutter.

"Love you too." He chuckles. Idiot.

"Here you go." I said, with a smile, handing the bowls to the of the people sitting their. I grab more of the bowls behind me and hand the bowls to them. "Thank you." They all say except Daichi. I turn away from the table and take more orders from everyone. "You oh me a new camera." I said, glaring at Issei.

"You got it." He smile innocently at me. I scoff, and continue to takes at him.

"See you tomorrow, Kumi." Issei says.

"Bye Issei. Tell you dad I said hi." I say. He nods his head and smiles at me.

My shift had ended, but it was still really early outside. I didn't want to go home and just do nothing for the rest of the day. So I walked back to my moms place. She wasn't there. Might have been busy with work maybe. So looked through what used to be my room. Everything was still kinda the same in here. Well, except my bed or desk wasn't here anymore. But a lot of my things were still in my closet. I grabbed one of the boxes of my stuff, maybe I could take a this stuff back to my apartment and open it there.

I walked out the house, locking the door behind me. Then I started walking back to my place. I probably should've called a taxi or something. My place is pretty far and this box is pretty heavy. "I will literally jump off a bridge." I mutter to myself.

I was getting closer, my I was also slowly giving up. "Need any help with that?" I turn around to see Daichi.

"Umm...n-no Thanks. I got it from here." I said, continuing to walk.

"Are you sure, because from what I see, you look like you're about to faint at any moment." He says, hand on my shoulder. My body stiffens. Why am I like this?

I don't get to answer, he takes the box from me, and continues to walk ahead. He stops in his tracks and looks over behind me. "You gonna show where you live?" He asks.

"I-I uh-uh...yeah." I stutter. Why am I still like this. I just want to forget.

The whole way back to my place was silent. I couldn't tell if it was awkward or peaceful. I just didn't think about it. I would think about other things to get my mind off it. I would think about that my feature. What I'm gonna get my friends for Christmas. Anything that didn't involve this.

We reach the outside of my apartment. "I'll take it from here, my apartments just right here." I said, taking the box from him.

"You could barely walk half a mile with this box. It'll be even worst for you to walk up the stairs." He says, taking the box back. I sigh, turn around, and we continue walking up the stairs.

We reach the third floor. As we made it to the top of the stairs, I stop him from walking anymore. "I can't see it from here. You could leave now." I said, taking the box.

"Sure thing." He says, turning back around and starts walking away.

"Daichi." I said. He turns around to look at me. "Thank you, for the help." I say after a bit of silence. He nods his head and smiles at me. Does he always have to smile? "No problem." He says. Then leaves. I nod my head, then go back to the apartment me and Riku share. She was fast asleep in the couch.

I walk back to my room. I didn't open the box as I planned to. I just left it sitting on my desk for the rest of the day. Maybe another time though.
