He's more of a dog person, tbh

That being said, in his current position, a cat is actually much more his speed

At first, he was hesitant to get one with you

Probably even said no at first

What if he couldn't take proper care of them?

What if the two of you break up??? Then who gets custody of the furry baby????

And then it happens

"I've had this cat for 24 hours"

"But if anything happened to him, I would kill everyone here and then myself"

He loves this cat

She's a very pretty cream and white tabby and her name is Lady

"Bella Senora~"

He absolutely pampers her

She has a pretty collar with a bow and a bell on it

A cozy kitty bed and a fancy cat tower

Even has pretty litter box

Didn't know how much he needed a support animal until he got her

After some convincing he might even register her as such??

He loves her so much

Can't thank you enough for convincing him

Also great practice for possible non-animal additions to the family later than life

What about his dragon???

What if they get jealous or sad because they're being replaced???

He's very concerned for his noodle dragon's feelings

It takes some convincing and an actual conversation with his dragon for him to agree

You guys get a shelter kitten so it'll grow up alongside the dragon rather than a grown cat who's not a fan of other animals or thinks it should try to make the dragon dinner

Picked the one with the brightest green eyes

Named him Shuriken

His nickname is Starburst though

Buys all equipment immediately after adopting the babe

Tagged collar, litter box, litter, probably way too much kitten food, an adult-sized kitty bed, cat house, cat toys, etc

Everything

He probably tried to put them in a sweater at some point but they weren't having it

The dragon and kitty get along great

Dragon sleeps with him in the kitty bed sometimes

Genji takes the best care of his pets

You have to keep him from giving them too many treats though

You also have to do the scoldings because he always feels bad doing it

Plus, he does it too lightly

Like Genji that cat just tore up out entire curtain you can't give it a pat on the head and treat

Genji's just a soft dad
