Jasiah Johnson-
I was currently out with Aleah, Kyree's wife, and Taye because Sincere and Kyree kicked me out the house so they could proceed with their stupid ass bet.
I made sure I told Sin that if something happened to my baby I would politely launch a knife down his throat. He seemed pretty intimidated by my statement so I think Kaden will be fine. Hopefully.
"Did y'all watch that video in Twitter where R Kelly said he asked his mama to marry him?" Taye asked
"Ew what the fuck?" I gagged damn near spitting the pile of Skittles and Sour Patch Kids out of my mouth
I bought a big bag of each and mixed them together. According to Sincere I wasn't supposed to be eating this, but oh well.
"Wait he literally came out and said that?" Aleah frowned while Taye nodded
"Yup. Said it without a care in the world."
"I wish I would ask one of my parents to marry me." I shook my head in disgust.
"Right. I don't know like my daddy anyway, but still." Taye said
"Same. " Aleah agreed
Taye's father came around every so often. He didn't do anything for her financially, but he would come visit just to see what her mother was up to.
"Does that not bother y'all?" I asked
I sort of understood the absent parent thing due to mine being split up when I was younger, but not as much because both my mom and my dad were still there for me.
"Not as much as it used to." Taye shrugged
"I kinda got over it after a while. It hurts, but not to the point where I would cry over it anymore."
"Explain please."
"You know my dad was hardly there for me since birth. As a child I thought it was because I did something wrong, but as I got older I realized it was because my father's a bitch who doesn't know how to take care of his responsibilities." Taye shrugged
"Mine was there at one point, but he met someone who he stated was 'better' than my mom. He left and started a family with the other woman. I was around 12 so I understood what was going on. After he got her pregnant for the first time I never heard from him again. It crushed me for a few years until I finally learned to accept it." Aleah said
I sat quiet not really knowing how to reply.
"Bitch I know you not crying." Taye laughed making me flip her off
"Shut up! That was sad." I whined wiping my face
"It's really not. The only sad part about it is that it's so typical nowadays. You can barely ever find a person in this generation who's parents are still together." Aleah said
"So y'all have never had any type of father figures in your life?" I asked
Aleah nodded. "I had my uncles and my step dad."
"I had nobody." Taye shrugged
I frowned. "What do you mean? You had your mom."
She scoffed. "Barely."
"Explain please." I repeated
"That lady never be home. Been that ways since I was little. If she not out with some man she out with one of her friends. I basically raised myself which explains why I turned out so bad." She shrugged again
"Why do you keep shrugging?" I asked. "I know you care."
"I really don't. I'm used too it."
"So what about now? Do y'all even communicate?" I asked
