Stiles thought about it for a moment, then nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I guess you're right. I'll see if I can catch him after school." He sighed, pushing his tray back as he stood. "I'm gonna get a headstart on the government homework. See you tonight?"

"Yeah, don't be late," Scott scolded, and Stiles grinned as he walked away. He might have smirked as he walked past the new kids table and caught Theo checking him out.

"Scott, I'm not late!" Stiles yelled as he let himself into his best friend's house. He hadn't knocked on Scott's door since probably fifth grade. After that, it started to feel odd, knocking on the door when he was there almost every day. "Scott, its only five minutes! There was traffic!" Stiles defended himself, only because Scott wasn't answering him. "Alright, maybe it was ten, but traffic was bad, okay!"

Stiles wandered into the kitchen where he was suprised to find not only Scott and Isaac, which was normal, but also Jackson, Danny, and of course, Theo. "Hey, man," Jackson greeted him with a smile. Stiles enjoyed Jackson's company a lot more now that they were friends, but this situation felt shady. "We just got here. You haven't missed much."

"What exactly is going on?" Stiles wondered, setting his glare on Scott, the culprit, of course. Stiles never should have mentioned the thing about Theo.

"Guys night," Scott answered, giving his best innocent smile. "I invited a few more people. I didn't think you'd mind," he continued, gesturing to Theo with his eyes. Stiles rolled his own eyes and sighed, setting his things on the floor. "Stiles, this is Theo. Theo, Stiles Stilinski."

"What's up," Theo greeted him with shy grin. Stiles returned the smile, but didn't say anything.

"Anways," Scott said eventually, breaking the awkward silence. "I figured we could order pizza and play some video games?" He waited for someone to agree, and when most of the guys did, they all flooded into the living room, Stiles falling in behind them. Scott called the pizza place while everyone settled into the living room, some on the couches, and some with pillows and blankets on the floor. Stiles sat in his usual spot and Theo sat next to him, so Stiles felt a little uncomfortable, but he was dealing with it.

"Pizza will be here in half an hour," Scott announced, settling next to Isaac on the floor. "What do you guys want to play?" He grabbed the basket full of controllers and started distributing them, but Stiles set his to the side. "You don't want to play?" Scott asked, confused.

"I do," Stiles assured him. "I just have to do something first. Play a round without me. I'll be back," he excused himself. He grabbed his phone out of his pocket and went outside to be alone. It was cold, but he didn't mind. If Scott knew he was trying to call Derek again, he might be disappointed. Especially after Stiles swore he was over it and that he was done trying. He couldn't stop himself from tapping Derek's name on the phone. He held it to his ear and listened to the familiar sound of the ringing. After calling so many times, he was used to the sound. Of course, there was no answer. Stiles expected nothing less. He tried again, though, because he couldn't help it.

"Everything alright?" someone asked, closing the door softly behind him. Stiles turned to see Theo with a blanket in his arms. "I thought you could use company," he offered. "And a warm blanket."
