"What the hell happened here?" he asked again, looking around the room.
The blood was still on the wall, where the words 'YOU'RE NEXT' was written. He also saw the blood on the bed before glancing at me, making sure that I didn't have any injuries on me.
I rolled my eyes, annoyed of his sudden protectiveness. "Rogues," I replied. "They found out where I lived, placed a female wolf on my bed, and wrote those words."
Trent looked at me, cautiously. "And you're fine?"
I shrugged. "Shocked, maybe a little bit scared. Other that, yes, I'm fine."
He wrinkled his nose a little. "Let's get out. This room smells, and my wolf wants out to kill those bastards."
I nodded my head, ushering him out of the room. I knew that it was bad smelling, even with my human nose. "I'm going to have to get Febreze and crap to get that smell out of the room. I'll also have to get me a new bedspread and sheets." I sighed and rolled my eyes. "And more money goes down the drain."
Trent raised an eyebrow. "Why don't you ask David for help?"
I shook my head. "No, no, no," I said, waving my finger. "I will not ask him for help. I have Dean and Roger to worry about, knowing that they will try to tell me to do something that I wouldn't like. If David wants to be with me, then he has to be a gentlemen. If that means babying me, then he should do baby me, even though I hate being babied." I leaned back on the sink and looked down. "He shouldn't have rejected me."
Trent sighed a little and leaned on the counter, across from me. "I know he shouldn't have," he replied. "But Werewolves sometimes do reject their other half."
I snorted and rolled my eyes. "They reject those that are supposed to be their other half. If I didn't know about Werewolves, then I would be oblivious, and I might actually have someone right now. But, sometimes I wish that he was by my side. I don't know what to do right now."
He sighed, nodding his head. "What about contacting Alpha Dean and that Roger fellow and tell them what's going on. Maybe, they can help you out with whatever is going to happen in the future."
I nodded my head. "This is neutral land, so Wolves can roam around here. And I'm sure that Dean might send someone up here, even though he shouldn't."
"And why shouldn't he?"
I looked at him, as if he was stupid. "There have been sightings of rogues in that area. Also, Hunters that hate Werewolves."
"All-"
I slapped him in the chest, narrowing my eyes slightly. I hated it when Werewolves said that all Hunters are bad, and they hate Werewolves. "Not all Hunters hate Wolves. I know some that are working with wolves. My grandfather started that. Now, shut up and let's go to the bed/couch. I'm not in the mood to fold it up, so you're going to have to be on it, also." With that, I walked to the couch bed and sat down.
Trent followed silently and sat down at the edge. He glanced around, slightly tensed.
"I'm not going to bite," I said, rolling my eyes. "Hard." Trent didn't do anything, so I just huffed and pulled out my phone, calling Dean. I placed it on speaker, so Trent could hear the conversation, also.
"Beta Blake. Missed me, Sweetheart?" a masculine voice said on the line, creating Trent to growl, silently.
"Not in a million years," I replied. "I'm still mad at you."
"But you knew that she was pregnant. You said it yourself, and I was just surprised. I didn't know how to take that sort of information, so I just stopped," Blake replied with a whine in his voice.
Trent gave me a look as if to say 'did he just whine?'
I smirked and nodded my head. 'I got that effect,' I mouthed. "Now, I've told you this a million times. I'm a nerd. I'm supposed to know, everything."
"Even though you don't look like a nerd anymore," Blake replied. There was a pause. "So how's it going over there? That Alpha weeping, yet? Or have you fallen into his charming traps?"
Trent growled a little and this time, Blake heard. "I would suggest you stop talking like that about my Alpha," he said. "He made a mistake, and he is paying dearly for it."
Blake growled. "Why the hell are you over there, Gamma?" he asked. "Trying to seduce, my girl into going back to your Alpha?"
"Guys," I said a little silent, as I rubbed the bridge of my nose. Why do guys think with their second brain sometimes?
"Well, your girl is supposed to be my true Luna, not some Bimbo that David had picked up," Trent replied.
"Guys," I said, again, this time a little higher.
"Well, guess what? Your Alpha had his chance. He only wants her now, because she's beautiful. She's always has been beautiful. Your Alpha has just been blinded by his reputation."
"Guess-"
"Guys, shut the fuck up. NOW!" I roared glaring at Trent. "Both of you are dumb ass bimbos if you think you can go on acting like this. Blake, Sweetie, we already knew that if David would stop being an A- class ass hole, get that bitch out of the packhouse, and then try and woo me. We already knew that one day, I was going to go over there and maybe finish the process. The pack is still mine, so when you threaten my packmates, it's like threatening me, got it?" I glared at the phone, before glaring at Trent. "And Trent, you know better. You're the one that has been seeing me most often, at school. You're threatening the pack that had raised me when both my grandparents and parents died. Now, I know that both of the packs have it's differences, but that's going to have to change. You both have one thing in common, and that's keeping me safe. Got it?"
"Amen," another male voice sounded at the phone. "Uh... hey, Jess," my brother said, knowing that I was glaring at the phone. "What's up?"
"Don't 'what's up' me. I knew that you were planning on ways to get back at this pack," I said, annoyed. "Now, if ya'll stop being an all mighty macho bitch, then I can start on why I had called in the first place." I paused. "Now, are you three done fighting?"
"Yes," they chorused.
"Good," I replied. "Now, it's time for this business meeting to begin."
