Two months. Two fucking months, I have been in a coma, listening to them argue and argue about what was wrong with me. No one knew. They had never seen this happen before.
I could feel and hear them, but I couldn't move or could I see. It was as if I was in a bubble or in really bad shock.
I could feel the tingles on my hand, and I knew that David was there, waiting for me to wake up.
I wanted to cry in relief when he told me that he had broken ties with his 'mate' and that he had changed, for me. He also told me that he was sorry for everything and then, he kissed me. But, I didn't wake up.
I also knew that Daniel was failing school and that he had quit football. I wanted to beat him up for that. Daniel knew better than to do that. I didn't spend all those extra hours for nothing. I, also, wanted to beat up David, because he was an ass hole, and he also had let his son fail.
I groaned a little, feeling myself start to wake up. Finally, I thought to myself. I still felt that tingling sensation on my hand, and I knew that David was still there. When I tried to open my eyes, I was blinded by this bright light. I groaned out again, shutting them.
"Jess?" a male voice asked, in a quiet whisper. "Are you waking up?"
I tapped 'yes' out in Morse Code and then 'turn out the lights'.
Someone chuckled, and I knew it was Dean, because he was the only one that knew Morse Code. We both had learned it together, so that we could communicate.
The room got dimmer, and I opened my eyes. I looked to the left to see my mate laying there, with his head on the bed. He was snoring softly, as if he had been drugged. David's hand was also on the bed, holding onto mine.
I turned to the right to see Daniel sleeping in a chair. He looked uncomfortable, with his head laying on his shoulder.
I turned to look at my brother, spying him close to the light switch. He had tears in his eyes, and I knew that they were happy tears. I did hate seeing my brother cry, but I didn't know what to say at the time. Besides, my throat was dry, as if I had swallowed lots of sand.
I gestured to it, wanting something to get that feeling out of it. Dean nodded and got me a cup of water. He helped me sit up, being careful not to wake up my mate.
I nodded my head in thanks and took a sip, clearing my dry throat. "Why the tears?" I asked, glancing at my older brother.
"I thought you were never going to wake up," he whispered.
I rolled my eyes. "I'm a fighter," I whispered. "Two months can't take me down."
Dean smiled a little and moved a strand of hair out of my face. He sat down on the other side of the bed, not wanting to disturb the sleeping male. He sighed, clearing out his throat.
I cuddled up next to him, still being careful with my mate. I glanced down at him, wanting him to wake up. However, I thought he needed his sleep.
"He apologized," Dean said, following my gaze. "For everything."
I nodded my head, clearing my throat. "I heard," I replied. "I heard everything." I glared at Daniel, waking him up.
Daniel blinked sleepily and yawned. He saw me awake and glaring at him. He rubbed the back of his neck, sheepishly. "I thought I felt you glaring."
I smirked a little and moved my hand through David's golden locks. I loved how soft it felt underneath my touch, and I knew that I was a lucky female.
He woke up and looked at me, with his golden-brown eyes. He blinked sleepily, before jumping up, realizing something. "You're up," he said. A grin flicked across his face. "You're actually up."
