They waited for his instructions and he simply shoved you into their arms as if not wanting to be in your presence any longer, as if the simple contact with you disgusted him.
He told them to simply pretend you didn't exist, they listened to him or to be more exact they feared him but then again who was he?
Why did he have the power to decide what would happen to you?
Who was he?
As you're carried and forced up the spiral stairs you can't help but feel that strange sensation of being watched by two warm brown eyes...
You slowly glance over your shoulder and though you were sure he was still there you couldn't help but hold your breath as your eyes lock.
You had never seen a man who looked like him, who felt like him, smelled like him or more importantly acted like him.
There was something royally forbidden in his eyes that, though you wanted to deny it, intrigued you.
A mixture of sadness that you couldn't ignore and couldn't miss but quickly vanishes only to be replaced by his arrogant smirk and that glint of superiority and mischief in his eyes.
He had you burning with rage but with something you couldn't put your finger on...
The man stands at the bottom of the stairs watching you, his hands behind his back, chin lifted, dark eyes squinted as you're carried up to the chambers.
For a slight second you think you see a smirk on his lips as he lowers his eyes at you but the minute he pushes back the bottom of his beautiful purple robe and turns his back walking away, his long silver hair swinging back and forth due to the superiority in his walk, you think it's all part of your imagination.
You hated him whoever he was.
You turn your head away and look at the men who have now set you on your feet as you reach a long hallway decorated with handmade paintings on the wall, a gold chandelier hangs above your head to light up the hallway, a red wine colored carpet on the floor trailing down the long path.
Now that he was gone you were curious to see if the men behind you were going to go back to their barbaric ways from earlier.
You decide to test them to find out.
"Not only are you all pathetic for obeying the beast but you have so much low self esteem of yourselves that you obey to that..." you try to finds the words but you don't know what to call him
He wasn't just a demon, he couldn't be just a demon...
His dark eyes turning to a dark chocolate shade, glistening with life keep playing in your head, you had never seen anything like it before.
How was that possible?
Was he human like you?
"Who is he?" you ask one of the men and he simply pushes you forward.
You bite down on your tongue and force yourself not to elbow him as you stumble on your two feet.
No choice but to move forward, your hands tied together again with that strong rope, though you discreetly still try to undo it, you walk onto the soft carpet leading down the hall, the pad of your feet seem to melt into the soft and warm material.
Your mind slowly slips back to your home, when you'd follow the men of your clan hunting and bring back wolves and bear skin to warm up your floors and create coats for winter.
You could still smell the winter forest air, the trees, the sound of the lake nearby, the sound of knifes and tools being sharpened, the cold and wet crunched up leaves and mud beneath your bare feet...
