Not like any other Nerd ~ Tadashi x Reader

Honey Lemon had just left to Aunt Cas and that left the three of you to set up your lab. Or office.

"Ok, so this will be much easier than you expect," Wasabi was actually excited as he led the way to your office. Tadashi threw you an apologetic smile before letting you go ahead of him. 

"Ok, most of my stuff is just simple things, mostly books. I need some help setting up a bookshelf," You mentioned. 

"Ok, I can set up the bookshelf, you two uhh, well listen to Wasabi," Tadashi was running his hand through his hair as he seemingly avoided Wasabi's lead. 

"That's ok, come on (y/n)," and you guys entered your office. 

It didn't take long for everyone to start working. You directed Tadashi to the bookshelf which he started without any instruction sheet. And Wasabi was quick to get settled by the desk and reorganize everything you already placed out. 

You had to admit though, the way he put things was aesthetically pleasing. You were set to organizing and placing things on the two shelves by the circular window sill. You placed your favourite books on this, as well as a lamp and one artificial cactus because you really didn't want to water it. But you liked how it looked. 

 "Ok, all done the bookshelf!" Tadashi called out, standing to look at his work. The bookshelf was quite tall, a bit taller than Tadashi. You guys have been here for about an hour. You felt incredibly grateful that they helped you. 

"Okay great! We also finished set-up and just need to put these books away," Wasabi said, standing up from my desk as he pointed to the two big boxes of books. You shrugged.

"They are all textbooks or books that are related, and some of them are Science journals," you mentioned as the three of you started to put them away. 

"Alright, I am defiantly going to need some of Aunt Cas's food after this," Wasabi mentioned and Tadashi immediately agreed. 

"Yes, it's been a day, but I'm happy to help out a fellow student!" He said this and gave you the biggest smile. You felt yourself wanting to smile back and couldn't stop yourself. 

"Yes thank you guys, if you ever need help with anything just remember I owe you one!" You smiled back at them, glad to be with them. 

"Ok, now that this is all done, let's get going!" Wasabi was enthusiastic about going to Aunt Cas, you wondered how good her treats were of if... You know it's defiantly because of her food he was so excited. I am sure her personality matched.

"You are going to love her (y/n), she makes the most amazing cin-"

"Hey, she does more than cook food you know?" Tadashi said. 

"Ok, but you can't deny she is an amazing cook and baker, I mean she has her own little coffee shop and bakery!" Woah. 

"That must mean she's a really good baker!" You agreed with Wasabi.

"Yeah ok, my aunt is defiantly a good baker," Tadashi seemed to know that there was no taking this away from Wasabi.

As you guys headed out of the Uni, you realized you were heading to the parking lot.

"Uh, not to be a bummer, but I don't have a vehicle, I can mee-"

"Nonsense, you can ride with me," Wasabi offered, you nodded. 

"Um, not to burst your little bubble but Wasabi your van can't take any passengers right now," you gave Tadashi a questioning look. 

"Oh man, I forgot to unload my project. Oh, my mum is not going like me bringing that home," Tadashi started laughing. 

"We could help you unload it?" You offered, wondering what the problem is. Tadashi started to laugh. 

"Wasabi has to get some of the university help to help him, it's too heavy, and a bit too dangerous. You'll see tomorrow," you nodded, wondering what Wasabi's work was. 

"Hey, if you are ok with scooters you can ride with me?" Tadashi offered. You nodded with a smile.

"I'll be there, maybe a bit late, I'm going to go slower than usual with all that stuff in my car!" Wasabi said apologetically.

"Don't apologize to us, apologize to your stomach!" Tadashi laughed at his own joke when Wasabi rolled his eyes. You giggled along with him, thinking he was absolutely adorable.

So I honestly go so happy when I got a like on my chapter. The fact that this has 50 reads makes me so happy.
