It's time to own up,
what you did and how you did.
Who got hurt and who didn't,
if you lost yourself, honey, then it's a sin.
Who you are; who you know,
When it was over, you let your old self go.
Your heart still trembles, still shakes,
it still loves and it still breaks,
but always remember...
dive but don't drown in the trust lake.
Words still hurt.
Eyes do cry.
But honey, believe in yourself and the tears will dry.
You need things to stop,
but that's not the end,
because they made you feel that way and you have to show them;
that who's the boss and then let the games begin.
Find the ones who love you,
leave the ones who don't,
but never let anyone play your game called life with their pawns or their dice.
Words still hurt.

I hope that now you know,
that whom to trust and whom to let go...
Let them say, and let them be,
live your life as you want it to be.
