Maybe I never grew up,
maybe I never knew,
but honey, you never thought that what all, I had to go through.Trouble is the word for you,
and what I felt was just blue,
and it was only because of you...You start your mess,
and get me into it.
Then you leave, and my soul had words, like a wine stained dress.
And you told the narcists that the rumors were not just myths.Maybe I never grew up,
maybe I never knew,
but honey, you never thought that what all, I had to go through.It took me a lot of time to find the ones who loved me;
but till now it's just those people who were mean.With the old me, my reputation died.
You burnt my heart and my soul dried.
But darling, now I know,
whom to trust and to whom to say no.
So, I let it all go...
So I let it all go...Maybe I never grew up,
maybe I never knew,
but honey, you never thought that what all, I had to go through.
