*ROASHSHRHHEHSHTESHRHSHHTRERHSHRSHHRSH*

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!* They all screamed.

White frothing water had burst through the wall and began filling up the room quickly. Debris was falling, the walls were collapsing, and Y/n struggled to keep her head out of the water  gasping for air as the raging water violently swept her away. All while Zim was shrieking in pain as the water burned him.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! CURSED EARTH WAT---*COFF KOFF!*," Zim flailed around having a harder time staying afloat than Y/n, water was beginning to fill his lungs causing him to choke. (Irkens probably have some  sort of lungs xD, how would they breathe!?).

Y/n thought she was going to die, but something in her seemed to force her to stay alive. What people probably called an adrenaline rush, Y/n suddenly had more energy and will to live. Her heart was beating fast, but despite that, somehow she was able to think clearer and faster.

The water was getting deeper, Y/n could no longer feel her feet scraping the ground as the water pushed her this way and that. With what she could see she noticed items and debris beginning to float, so her first instinct was to try grab something as it floated by.

Y/n was able to grab onto a drifting white panel like object, probably once a door or table. She climbed on top of the object and was able to get a good breath of air as she clung to the makeshift raft. Looking around the room still filling with water she spotted Zim who's screams were starting to weaken.

Tears were beginning to pour from his eyes from pain and the thought of dying, Zim could no longer see anything, the waves kept crashing over him  pushing him under, sweeping up and down. For moments he would on top of a wave, and then suddenly faster than he could breathe he was under the wave again. He didn't know how to swim at all to add on to his circumstance. And the tears in his eyes weren't helping, this only added to his fear not being able to see clearly. It was amazing he was still screaming.

"ACK *GASP* AGAGAGHHHHH--*COFF* GIR!!! Y/---" Zim didn't have time to react at all in anyway, and another wave swept over him pushing him while some debris threatened to trap him under or knock him out. Zim could hear the water rushing past his antennas as he continued to flail and try to get a gasp of air only to end up swallowing water. Zim was drowning, he felt like his insides would explode as they burned and demanded oxygen. His vision began to have little specks of purple and black. When suddenly quite a few large pieces of debris from the ceiling fell on top of Zim, knocking him unconscious and blacking out.

Y/n now had a bit of hold on things, hanging on to both side of her 'raft'. And out of the watery mess she spotted Zim floating face down towards her direction, he reminded Y/n of a turtle in away in how usually all one might see was the shell when the turtle swims. Quickly as he passed her by Y/n  reached down and grabbed him by the scruff of his uniform and then using her other arm to reach under his armpit to pull him up onto the raft.

The raft had tilted and almost tipped over in her maneuver to pull
Zim up, which worried Y/n but it soon stabilized, well as stable as a raft can be in a room filling with raging water. But Y/n held onto Zim so he wouldn't slide off; she really wished he was awake. Because if he was awake she'd he'd have someone to help her maybe, some who knows more than her, someone who can help her in this random bullshit her pathetic self can't solve....Or.... at the least so she wouldn't have to hang on to him so much, and he would be able to keep himself from falling overboard.

As she hung onto him she knew she had to get out of here with the ceiling getting closer and closer. It might be possible to swim out of the hole Zim created, but with all this rushing water, it might not be possible. Y/n was never really the strongest swimmer, even though she did like to to swim from time to time. Mostly just splashed around in the water and see how long she can hold her breath or something, never really having that many friends to play in the water anyway, sometimes but not often. And there's no way she could hold her breathe that long to swim through the hole nor' strong enough.
