Chapter XVI

Lisa. She cares for you, you know that. She won't allow herself to do the things that might hurt you in any way. Just trust her, Lisa. She's not like her. Says my heart.

Fuck these two. I don't know where am I going to believe in. But I choose to listen to my heart.

I turned around again to face Jennie. My face is now an inches away from her face. She looked a bit startle but smile anyway. I smiled back as I hug her back.

"Don't be mad at me, Lisa. You know I won't hurt you, right? I won't do stupid things that might hurt you in any way. I care for you so much." She gave me a kissed on my head and hugged me tightly.

I kissed her neck. "I'm not mad anymore. I'm sorry too, Nini." She pulled back to face me.

I chuckled when I see a questionable look from her. "Nini?" She asked. "Where did it come from?" She added.

"I just shortened your name— even if it's already short." I giggled and put my head again on her neck.

I heard her chuckling softly. "Alright, so can I call you Lili from now on?" Now, it's time for me to pulled back a bit and stared at her cat eyes.

"Lili? Sounds cute." I chuckled softly.

She caresses my back and chuckled as well. "But you are cuter." She retorted.

I shook my head in disagreement. "Nah. You are the cutest, Nini." I argued.

"You're just hungry. Come on, sit up properly. I'll prepare your breakfast, Lili. What do you want to eat?"

"You?" I quickly utter and kissed her neck again. But, longer this time.

I just stopped kissing her neck when she suddenly slap my arm. "Yah!" I can feel her cheeks turning red.

I chuckled. "Kidding. Pancakes and bacons will do, Nini. Make it a lot. You will eat with me." This is not a question, obviously. I want to eat any meals with her.

"No need. I already ate, Lili." She rejected.

I pulled back and pouted to her. "I'm not going to eat then." I said and turned my back to her.

I'm a brat. I know.

She sighed deeply. "Alright! Such a stubborn kid." She murmured and hugged me again.

I turned around to face her again. "But you still like me so I don't care." I kissed the top of her nose.

She smiled sweetly. "And that's right." She said as she giggled and got up on the bed then walks to the door to go downstairs.

"Lili? Aren't you planning on going back to school?" She asked as she played with my hands.

We are watching frozen again for the nth time— my choice— while eating some popcorns and chips.

"For now? Nope. I want to spend my free time with you." I answered honestly, still staring at the television.

My mom actually asked me about that last time. She asked me if I want to go back to school and take my course again, but I refused.

If I go back to school again, there would be:

Less cuddling hours with Jennie.
Less movie marathon with Jennie.
Less talking to Jennie.
Less sleeping with Jennie.
Less Jennie for a whole day.

So, no. I ain't going back for now.

"And besides, you are here to teach me lessons so why go to school if I already have the best teacher in town?" I answered again but this time, while looking at her.

I saw her blushed but I didn't tease her, tho. Instead, I just smiled widely. Knowing that I can make Jennie blushed is already an achievement for me.

"But school has a lot more advanced lessons, Lili and even more great teachers to teach you different lessons everyday." Jennie said again.

Why do I have this feeling that Jennie is telling me to go back to school? She isn't asking actually. She is telling me that.

I wear my emotionless face and replied. "I don't care. We have internet. You're using that whenever you're teaching me. My mom always buys advanced books for us to use. My sister is sending you a lessons— every time she calls— for you to teach me... and yes, I knew it because I have two ears, Jennie. I can hear you." Jennie didn't know that I knew what her and my sister have been talking about.

Every time my sister calls, she would asked for Jennie's precious time because she wanted to talk to her privately. Jennie would went to the bathroom or to the balcony to have their so-called private conversation. And because of my trust issues— I can't help myself but to eavesdrop. That's why I knew what they are talking about.

They want me to go back to school as soon as possible. I don't effin' know why.

Jennie stopped for a moment. Maybe thinking about what I have said. I'm not looking at her so I can't see her facial reaction. But I can feel her tense body.

But then, she continues.

"Lili, school is fun. Aside from advanced lessons, you can make friends, too. Besides, your best friends are there. Don't you miss hanging out with them?" She suddenly asked.

I frowned and stared at her.

Now I can see her nervous eyes. She gulped and diverted her gaze from me to the television.

"Jennie." I called her to face me. She turned her face to me but can't look at my eyes for a minute.

I sat up and face her. "Why do I have this feeling that you're forcing me to go back to school?" I asked but she still can't look at me straight in the eyes.

Something is forming on my mind but I put it aside. I don't even want to think about it. But Jennie's silence makes me think that, maybe it's the reason why she's telling me to go back to school.

So I asked it away.

"Are you planning on leaving me?"
