Jennie's POV

"Stop moving, Lisa!" I said firmly as I narrowed my eyes to Lisa.

She pouted and laid down again.

"I just want to hug my friends, Nini." She sadly stated as she pointed to Seulgi and Dahyun. "I miss them a lot."

"Saka mo na kami yakapin pag malakas ka na, hero." Seulgi teased that made us chuckle but Lisa crossed her arms above her chest and pouted even more. "You need to rest a lot, bud. One week naman kami rito so we still have a lot of time to bond." Dahyun said with a wink before she removed her arm on Sana's shoulder.

Sana and Irene were both here at the hospital as well. The four of them immediately booked a flight papunta rito sa japan the moment they knew na nabaril si Lisa. Actually, kakarating lang nila twenty minutes ago at sakto naman na gising na si Lisa after almost a day of being asleep. She's confined in the hospital dahil inoperahan siya as well as Wendy. While me, the doctor stitched my forehead pero a couple lang dahil hindi naman ganon kalaki yung sugat ko.

"How are you feeling?" I asked Lisa as I caressed her right hand.

She diverted her eyes at our friends, who were busy scanning the mini fridge inside of Lisa's hospital room, to my hand above her hand. Kanina pa kasi sila nagrereklamo dahil hindi raw masarap yung mga pagkain sa eroplano. pfft.

She gave me a warm smile before intertwining our hands together. "I'm fine, Nini. I feel a lot more better knowing that you're fine."

I bit my lower lip to control my tears from falling but she noticed it. She removed her hand on my grip and put it on my chin before she lifted it up a bit.

"Hey, don't cry, Nini. I'm fine, see?" She said but tears started to fall down my cheeks when I saw her eyes.

"Y-you don't have to do that." I softly mumbled before I looked down to stare at my hands together. "You s-scared me." I mumbled again as tears began to fall down my cheeks.

She put down her hand again and intertwined it with mine as she gently caressed it using her thumb.

"Aish, do you really think that I will let you die without doing anything? Tch. I'm still mad at you nga pala." She said as she nudged her hand on my hand and looked away.

She's really cute when she's being like this.

I chuckled softly and pouted as I wiped my tears using my hand. "Why?" I asked as I tilt my head on the side.

She looked at me and huffed a breath. "Stop that." She playfully rolled her eyes on me.

"Stop what?" I asked innocently.

"That! You're acting too cute because you know I can't resist you." She said while pointing at me that made me chuckle.

"Did it work?"

"It always did, Nini. Come here." She said and scooted a bit to give me space beside her. I giggled and laid down beside her. She wrapped her free hand on my shoulder for me to used it as my pillow. While I wrapped my hand on her waist gently since she got shot on the left side of her belly, buti nalang talaga daplis lang yon kung hindi, baka hindi ko kayanin pag nawala siya sakin.

"I thought I'd lost you." I mumbled on her chest as I tightened my hug on her.

She caressed my arm soothingly and kissed the top of my head gently, she's afraid that she might put force on my injured head. "I will never leave you, Jennie. Didn't I promise you that I will protect you as much as I can?"
