Jennie's POV

"Lisa, I told you sa bahay nalang ako matutulog." I said as I watched her placing my luggages inside her room.

Pumasok na rin ako sa kwarto niya kasunod niya.

She straightened her body up and faced me. "And I told you, I won't let you sleep there alone. Your family wasn't in your house today like what you've said." She reached for my hand and guided me to sat me on the bed. "I'll be at ease knowing that you're here with me." She spoke again.

"Kaya ko naman matulog mag-isa. Wala naman mangyayareng masama, Lisa." I argued.

Lisa's been acting paranoid and I don't know why.

She sighed and stood straight. "Nini, you can't see what would happen for the next few hours. What if something happen and I'm not there with you? You know—"

"Lisa, you're just being paranoid."

"And you're being stubborn. Lay down now and sleep. Go, go." Napatawa nalang ako dahil sa kakulitan niya.

Nagising ako ng bandang gabi na. Dinalat ko ang isang mata ko para hanapin ang unang taong nais kong makita pagkadilat ko.

Napakunot ang noo ko ng hindi ko siya nakita sa tabi ko. "Lisa?" I called her out. Pero walang sumagot.

Tumayo ako at bahagyang napatingin ang mata ko nung may nakita akong imahe sa may balcony ng kwarto ni Lisa. By staring at that image, I knew who it is.

I smiled sweetly and stood up.

"Hey..." mahinahong tawag ko sa kanya sabay yakap sa kanya mula sa likuran. I felt her body stiffened for a minute pero nakabawi naman siya agad. She turned to me with a sad smile and cupped my face. "Hi there, beautiful. How's your sleep?"

Napatitig lang ako sa kanya. Trying to read what's on her mind.

"Nini?"

I blinked noticing the fact that I stared at her for maybe a long while. I gave her my sweetest smile while still hugging her waist.

"I had a great sleep." I answered. "What are you doing here, Lili? Is there something bothering you?" I asked out of curiosity.

I know she's thinking of something. Just by looking at her eyes and noticing her actions, alam ko kung may bumabagabag ba sa kanya.

She then took off her hand on my face and held my hand and dragged me papasok ulit sa kwarto niya. "Nothing, sweetheart. Are you hungry? Do you want to eat?" She asked without looking at me.

Napahinto siya nung napansin niyang hindi ako sumagot. I was just staring at her. "I know you, Lisa. Something is bothering you." Lumapit siya ulit sakin at nagbuntong hininga.

She weakly let out a laugh and reached for her nape. "Guess I can't hide anything from you." She bit her lower lip.

And I was stopping myself from pulling her nape towards me and kissed her hard.

I cleared my throat unconsciously. "So, w-what is that?" Why did I stuttered? Oh my, Lisa.
