Merthur and Reader x Sir Leon

Arthur P/O/V:

After a successful raid, we return to Camelot. Me trying to ignore the knights who are trying to get me to admit who I like. I sigh "I'm not going to tell you." Gwaine nods "Have we already said their name?" I don't reply and he grins "It's Gaius isn't it?" the others snort with laughs including Merlin who has been oddly quiet the past few hours. I roll my eyes "Gwaine either you stop or you're banned from the tavern for a year." he shuts his mouth as we ride into the courtyard servants coming forward and hold our horses, leading them to the stables once we've gotten off. Mordred appears and runs down the steps, I grin "Mordred, what's wrong?" 

He frowns "Y'N she's gone." I laugh "Good one, Father rarely lets her leave the palace." he shakes his head and I walk up the steps and into the throne room the others following. "Successful on your quest I hope?" I nod "Yes, the bandits won't be bothering anyone again." he nods and I look forward "Where's Y/N? It's not like her to miss our return." Standing he scowls "No one mentions that traitors name under this roof. All the knights have been notified to kill her if she returns to Camalot. That rule is to be obeyed by everyone!" he glares at Lancelot, Gwaine, Percival, Elyane and Leon in turn. They all bow their heads and walk out. "What did she do to warrant such a punishment?" 

He sinks back onto the throne "She disobeyed my orders, refused to marry and was found guilty of practising magic!" I bow my head and walk out the room fuming. How could he do this, to his own daughter? I storm up to my room and find Merlin making the bed. He stops when I walk in and walks over holding a small piece of paper. "I'm sorry Arthur, Erin told me what happened." I take the paper of him and slowly sit on the end of the bed unfolding it.

Arthur, my dear brother,

I'm sorry I never told you about my magic but I didn't know if you would react like Uther. I am glad that you accepted Merlin and magic. I will be fine, so don't worry about me. Please be a better king than Uther and please tell Merlin how you feel. I will never forget you, I'm sure we will meet again soon. If you can please make Uther see reason magic is not bad, Morgana will help where she can and I know that Merlin can contact her. stay true to your heart and do what you think is right.

"How could he do this to her?" I know I'm shaking from anger and Merlin sits next to me and gently places an arm around my shoulders "I don't know." I lean into his warmth "What does he have against magic, you have it and I wouldn't be here without you." he smiles "Uther is blinded by hate. He used magic to have your sister but the consequence was the queen's life." I nod calming my breathing "Promise me you will be careful." he nods "Of course." I stand up "I want to know your safe at all times. I've lost Y/N, I can't lose you too." he smiles "Arthur, I'm not going anywhere." I nod "I need to talk to Mordred, Erin and the knights." 

Merlin nods "I'll get Erin and Mordred, you get the knights and we'll meet back here." I manage a small smile "Are you giving me an order?" he grins and runs out the room dodging the pillow I throw at him. I place Y/N's letter on my desk and walk to the armoury.
