Merthur and Reader x Sir Leon

I jump of Kali and lead her through the line of trees into the small clearing around the cave. I push back the vines covering the cave entrance allowing the sunlight to stream in and Leon stands next to me. "You've been living here." I nod and he smiles "It's a lot nicer than what I was expecting. When you said cave it didn't exactly sound homely." I laugh and walk to the short distance to the back of the cave moving the blankets to the side removing the letters I hid there. "It got cold in winter but magic helped a lot." he nods and leans against the wall "I need to tell you something." I stand and smile "What?" he blushes and stares at the ground.

"I should have told you ages ago." I smile and step a little closer "Leon?" he looks up and smiles "Iloveyou." I blush furiously and manage to stutter out "W-what?" he smiles and steps closer "I love you." I grin and lean up kissing him quickly before stepping away "I love you too." he smiles brightly and places a hand on my cheek gently leaning down and kissing me. I wrap my arms around his neck and smile into the kiss. We pull apart for air and I lean my forhead against his "I wanted to tell you but could never get up the couage, then you were banished and..." I smile and kiss him again. "Aparantly everyone else already knew." he nods and smiles "We should probrably pack away your things."

Smiling I kiss his cheek before turning and grabbing the empty saddle bags I start packing away the clothes and my bed. I roll up the blanket on the floor and leave it by the cave entrance. Leon hands me two more saddle bags with my remaining belongings which leaves an empty cave with a shelf and antlers stuck to the walls. "Can we stop of in Viara before we head back?" he nods "Of course." I smile and we secure the saddle bags, blanket and oil lamps to the the horses. I let the ivy drape back over the cave entrance and remove the runes surrounding it "Let's go." he smiles and kisses the top of my head before mounting his horse. I mount Kali and we ride towards Viara as the sun reaches its midday point. 

We ride into Viara and I smile as five young children all run forward. I recognise them instantly as Grey, Kyle, Laura, Grace and the youngest of the five Anna. I jump down and let them hug me trying not to lose my balance. Leon smiles and they all pull away "You came back." I smile "I did promise." they all nod and Anna stares at Leon "Who's he?" I smile "This is Leon he is my..." he smiles "Boyfriend." Anna grins "Is he the man in your stories." I blush slightly "Maybe."

She smiles and walks over to Leon "Hello." he smiles "Nice to meet you." Grey turns to me "Did you bring some more stories?" I smile and nod and turn to Leon "Do you want to come with me? Or go to the tavern?" he shrugs "I'll come with you." I nod and the children grab my hands dragging me to our usual spot in one of the fields. I sit next to Leon and the five others sit in front of us looking expectant. I start telling them how I met the knights and Leon and how I can return home. 

When I finish the story they all looked shocked "Your the princess?" I nod and Grace gasps "Woah." I smile and Kyle and Grey start bombarding Leon with questions about being a knight. I smile and stand "We should probably get to the tavern before it gets dark." Leon nods and smiles.
