She shook her head, her locks flowing freely.
"No. I have a certain extent of power in the worlds and universes, watching people's dreams, their nightmares, the limbo in between, and in the waking world."
"The... limbo?" She motioned around you.
"The void is the limbo. You are not quite awake, yet not asleep, so you come here to the Void. I have been watching over you for some time... As a child, you would dream of going somewhere far away, somewhere far more interesting than the life you had..."
You feel the nostalgia creep upon you, but shake those thoughts away as she continues.
"So when you died, I was saddened, and I pulled some... strings, with the Gods of your world, and the one you are in now, convincing them to give you a second chance at the life you should have been given." You let her words sink in, confusion flashing across your features.
"Wait, you're telling me... that I actually did die, but then you made it so that I got... transferred to this world..?" you ask, holding onto your head as your thoughts ran rampant.
"Yes, if you put it like that... Your life in this world is the same as the one you have lived before, your friends and family are the same..."
You sigh as she fixes you upright again.
"What about... all that weird stuff with the ball, and the weird clothes, and that video game power up fist thing? What was that all about?" you inquire, remembering all the questions Navi-Sama had asked, and the odd glass floors you had walked upon.
"Those were the gifts I was able to give you to aid you on your new quest, as you embark into this new chapter of your life. The strength you have within will now be mirrored on the outside as well..." she trailed off, looking around the Void, before sighing.
"You are waking..." You felt her touch on your arms start to fade, as well as her face.
"I will watch over you as you go on, my child... be safe..."

You sit with a groan, the annoying sound of an alarm clock rousing you from your sleep. You slam your hand down on it, shutting it off, and pull yourself out of your warm bed. Shivers ran up your spine as your bare feet made contact with the cold ground. The clock read 8:30, and you walked over to the balcony doors, opening them, and letting the warm breeze inside. You turn back to your dresser and pull out a (f/c) shirt and a pair of jeans.
You changed into them, and closed the balcony doors before walking into the kitchen, grabbing something for breakfast. You grab your food, and sit down on the couch, clicking on the news.
"---And in other news today, in a few weeks from now; the famous World Martial Arts Tournament is fast approaching, only two weeks from now.---" You pause your eating, and frown. 'Oh man, that means I gotta find a new place sooner than I thought...' You think to yourself, before turning your eyes back to the tv.
"---The Ocean View Apartment Building is set to be demolished three days after the tournament, to make way for the restaurant that is to be built there by the Roku Chain. And now, to Whitney with the weather.--- '' You clicked it off as you finished eating, sighing heavily. You threw away the trash, but nearly jumped out of your skin as a phone went off. You searched for it, and found it on the table, the bold letters reading 'AECH'. You pick it up and answer.
"Hello..?"
"-Hey, (Y/n)!-" Aech shouted through the phone, and you lean away.
"What's up, Aech?"
"-Well, the others and I all know that you're gonna have to move out pretty soon, and we were wondering if you wanted help packing things, and finding a new place?-" You ponder his words for a moment.
"Yeah, that'd be great! Thanks for offering Aech." He laughed on the other side of the phone.
"-Yeah, no problem, (Y/n)! I'll talk to the others, and we'll all come over later to help.-"
"Alright, thanks Aech. I'll see you later."
"-Yeah, bye!-"
You sigh, running a tired hand over your face.
"Aww, I just got here and I have to move already?!" You raise your hands to the sky and shake them angrily, "Ya'll just pulling me every which way!" You huffed, pouting. 'Well, Navi-Sama did say I was stronger now. So how about I go train for a little bit? Yeah, that sounds like a good idea!'
You stood, and pulled on your shoes. You grab your keys and phone, before walking out the door, your feet leading you to where you wanted to go, almost like a memory.
~ Time Skip~
You had hardly even broken a sweat when OA called you, letting you know they were on their way to your place. You put up the weights you had been using, seeing the three jacked bodybuilders gape at you when you had calmly lifted the two 300 pound weights back onto their racks. Walking away, you waved goodbye to Mac, the lady that worked at the desk. Apparently in this new life, you had come here everyday for years and years, so you knew each other well. She was a nice lady, her blond hair streaked with gray, and farely ripped.
"See you tomorrow, Mac!" You called to her as you walked out the doors. She waved back, and you pulled out a capsule, clicking it, and releasing the (f/c) motorbike onto the pavement. You hopped on, taking off towards your place. You hummed along the way, your head bobbing to the beat as you went along. Soon you were back, and you returned the bike to its rightful place before jogging up the stairs.
A few moments later, your friends were at the door, and you welcomed them in.
"Alrighty!" Arty said, clapping her hands together, "I've got capsules we can put most of your stuff in, and while these dudes here help you pack your stuff, I am going to start looking up places for you to stay! Sound like a plan?" You all said something in agreement, and she smiled, before finding herself a place to sit on the couch. You turned to the other three.
"Aech, Haru; you guys can start in the kitchen. OA, can you get the living room packed up? I'll get started in my room."
"Yeah."
"Yes, I can do that."
"I'll get right on it." You nod, smiling as you parted your ways. Your room was fairly easy to get packed up, since there wasn't much in it either, though your bathroom was a little harder to get put away, due to your thoughts wandering every other five seconds. You sat down in your now empty room, and sigh, breathing in the ocean air.
"I know I haven't really been here long, but I'm going to miss this place..." You mumble, staring out over the balcony.
"Hey, (Y/n)!" You turn at the sound of your name, peeling yourself off the floor and walking into the living room. Arty was sitting criss crossed on the couch, and motioned you towards her.
"I found one for ya! It's not too far away, but it's a nice place."
She turned the (f/c) laptop towards you, showing you a picture of a small house. It was a light gray colour, and it was being sold for only 2,000 Zeni, which was about the same as the price of where you were staying right now.
"Do you want me to send a message to the seller that you are interested in it?" You nod.
"Yeah, that sounds good," You hum, standing and stretching your arms and legs, feeling the faint strain of your earlier workout.
"(Y/n), we've finished," Haru said, leaning in from the kitchen.
"Wow, that was fast!" Arty laughed, closing the laptop. OA was leaning in the doorway, grinning.
"Well, it's only 4:55. Do you guys want to grab some food and then go train on the beach again?" they asked, throwing the suggestion out into the air. You thought about it for a second.
"I think that would be fun, what do you guys think?" You question, leaning back to look at Haru and Aech, who were cuddled up next to each other cutely. They looked at each other, silently conversing silently, before nodding in unison.
"Yeah, that works for me." Aech said, smiling. Haru just nodded, ever the strong but silent type. You all merged together towards the door and made your way downstairs, and to the beach, ready for another round of volleyball.
