Out Of Place (DBZ Various x Reader)

~(Y/n)'s POV~

By the time you finished training, the sun was setting, and sand was nestled in every crook and cranny you could imagine. You were itching (ha) to get a shower, and you were wishing you had taken Arty and Suki's offer for a ride home, instead of running to build up endurance. When you made it to the door, you practically slammed it open. You quickly stripped and hopped under the warm water, letting it cascade down your body. When you got out, you slipped into some pjs and threw your dirty clothes in the wash, before grabbing something to eat, and sitting down to watch tv.

A baseball game was on, Taitans vs R (I shit you not, that's the team's name), bottom of the 9th, 10 to 5 in favor of the Taitans. You sigh, before digging into your sandwich.
"Why ish thims teh onleh good thithg one? You question through a mouthful of food. The game went on into overtime and you had already finished your sandwich.
"---AND STRIKKE! He's out! Now the games' tied 13-13, and the Taitans are up to bat. Let's see how this fares for them.---"

You were leaning on the edge of my couch now, and your eyes were drooping.
"---A HOME RUN! The Taitans have broken the tie and---" You didn't hear the end of what was going to be said, before dozing off into a peaceful sleep.

✩~ENTER DREAM VOID✩

Your eyes slowly blinked open, and you found yourself in the void again. You glance around.
"Navi-Sama?" You shouted, looking around for the pink deity, "Navi-Sama!"
"Ah, my child! There you are!" You turn to see the feminine figure floating towards you. You gave her a smile, before your body betrayed you and started to spin around. She chuckled, watching you.

"I was hoping you would accept my invitation to return to the Void," she clasped her hands together, and you could hear the smile in her voice.
"Invitation? To what?" You asked, as you slowly shifted back into your upright position, waving your arms around a bit to achieve that.
"I know you are doing the World Martial Arts Tournament, and I want to help you get as strong as possible." You made a thoughtful face, and nodded.
"That'd be cool, actually..." You mumble.

"Shall we get started then?" She asked. You nod. Suddenly, weight returned to you as you found yourself standing on a white platform.
"Before we get going," she said, turning to face you, "I must warn you." You raise an eyebrow.

"Warn me? About what?" She sighed.
"My training is not something to take lightly. It is hard and demanding." You crack your neck and roll your shoulders.
"Hey, come on, Navi-Sama! Have some faith in me!"

She gives you a pat on the head.
"There is one other thing, my child. Training in the Void is... interesting, to say the least. Time here, passes differently in here, than it does out in the Waking World. Training in here for one night is the equivalent of an entire 24 hours out in your world."
"Wow, that's... a long time." You shake your head. 'No, wait, I can handle this!' 

You bounce on the balls of your feet, relaxing your muscles.
"Shall we begin?"

~Time Skip~

You slide back, your arms up in an X to block the attack Navi-Sama had thrown at you. You pant, lowering your arms. You could feel the burn in your muscles as you straightened out.
"Well done, my child! You are even stronger than I had hoped!" she laughed, gliding over to you effortlessly. You pout at her.

"How come you get to do all the cool floaty shit?! I can't even stay upright half-the time!" She chuckled as she floated around you, taunting you playfully.
"That is something I cannot teach you." You tilt your head.
"Huh? Why not?"

"I am a Deity. You are a human. The laws of gravity are easy for me to bend since I have magic beyond the Waking World. And since the Dream Void is my domain, I make the rules here." You let out a 'hmpf', crossing your arms childishly. You feel your body start to tingle.
"Aw man," You whine, feeling the loss of warmth that the Void provided as you slowly awoke.
"I will see you soon, my child... But for now, you must return to the Waking World." You watched as the Void slowly disappeared from your sight.

✩~EXIT DREAM VOID~✩

You sit up, and frown. Sunlight was streaming through the windows, burning your still sleepy eyes. You slid off the couch, turning off the tv and rubbing the soreness out of your neck. You glacne at the clock on the microwave that read 10:30. You rubbed your eyes, doing a double take at the red clock.
"Holy shit, I overslept!" You shout, gaping at the clock.

You found your phone and turned on the screen. There were about 5 missed calls, collectively from Arty, Aech, OA, one from Haru, and surprisingly enough Suki. You respond back to each one, telling them you had overslept. You change into your workout clothes, and start on your way to the gym, already feeling stronger than you had the day before.

"I'm gonna make people shit bricks when they see how strong I can be!"
