~(Y/n)'s POV~
~Time Skip- A Week Later~

You set down your weights, dusting off your hands. You smile widely, placing your hands on your hips. You turned, and saw about 10 stacked bodybuilder guys gaping at you. You swallow nervously, before turning away from them, eyeing the 500 something weights you had been pressing.
"Okkkaaayyy then..."

You grabbed your small bag, slinging it over your back and walking over to the main desk.
"Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow, Mac." You said to the blonde, grinning. She shook her head.
"(Y/n), I knew you were strong before, but now? How do you do it?" Your grin widened.

"Let's just say, old people have great training regimes." You smile at your little joke, before heading towards the door, waving goodbye to Mac.
"I'll see you later!'' She called after you. You took in a breath of fresh air, glancing around the streets of City Z. You pulled out your earbuds and shoved them into your ears, music blaring in your eardrums.

You started into a light jog, and slowly sped up as you got closer and closer to the edge of town, heading up into the mountains. It was a nice day, a little chilly if you caught the breeze just right. You inhale deeply as you go, the smell of trees and dirt filling your lungs. You skid to a halt right before a cliff, and windmilled your arms to keep from toppling over the edge.
"Sheesh, I was not paying attention to where I was going..."

You rub your neck sheepishly, and turn back the way you had come from. There were skid marks in the grass, and looked as if someone (AKA you) had left clear tracks through the woods. You frown.
"I wasn't going that fast, was?" You asked yourself, before turning back to the cliff. You sit down, letting your feet dangle over the edge.

You could see a small river running in between two hills, and a small waterfall farther down, and beautiful lush green trees surrounding you.
"It must be nice to live out here, away from the city. It's... calming." You lean over the edge, down at the ground a few hundred feet away. You think back to all your training with Navi-Sama.
"Mmmmm... I wonder," You mumble, standing up and dusting the dirt off your ass.

You stood on the very edge of the cliff, and looked down, pondering if what you were about to do would work. 'It's just like training with Navi-Sama...." You told yourself, trying to block all negative thoughts. You steeled yourself, and then stepped off the ledge. You were falling, and it was kinda peaceful. Then you remembered you weren't in the Void, and there would be no gentle set down.

You watch the ground grow closer, and when your feet touch the ground, your legs bent and you leaned forwards into a roll. You stand, leaves and twigs tangled up in your hair, and dirt smudged on your face. You grin widely, jumping around.
"Hell yes! I lived!" You laugh, before hearing a chime from your phone. You pull it out and look down.

It was Arty.

Arty: Hey.
(Y/n): What's up?
Arty: Well, since the Tournament is only three days away, I thought maybe the gang should get together and celebrate.
(Y/n): That sounds like a great idea! How are we celebrating?
Arty: Well, everyone can make it, even Suki, so I was thinking... go out for dinner?

(Y/n): Yeah, that works for me! Where and when?
Arty: How about, I dunno, two hours from now, Ichiraku Ramen place. Sound good?
(Y/n): Hell yes! Count me in. I'll see you in two hours!
Arty: Alrighty, see you then!
(Y/n): Sweet!

You opened the map, and pulled up directions back to your place. It said it would take about 3 hours for you to actually walk back, and you laughed. If you could make it here in about 30 minutes, you could get back to your place in under two hours. You hit play on Running In The 90s, and started in a dead sprint back to City Z, a smile on your face the whole way there. Ramen here I come.

~Time Skip~

You had gotten a shower, and were drying your hair when the phone rang. You answered it, and put it on speaker.
"Hewwo?"
"---Hey (Y/n)! You ready to go?---" It was Suki.

You hummed, picked up the phone, walking to the door.
"Ya, I just gotta throw my shoes on." you said, reaching for said converse.
"---Well hurry up! We're all waiting on you!---" Arty shouted at you. You laughed, opening the door and closing it. You locked it and jogged down the stairs, shoes in hand.

When you got to the bottom and exited the main door, you saw Arty and Suik waiting for yo in their car. You jogged over to them, hopping in the back seat.
"Hit it!" Suki turned her head to watch you struggle with your (f/c) converse. Suki was Arty's wife of about four or five years, You couldn't remember.

She had a short bob-cut that was a beautiful red color, and had one green eye and one blue eye. Heterochromia, and very pretty.
"What took you so long?" she asked you, a twinkle of amusement in her eyes.
"I was training when Arty texted me, so, it took me a bi to get the smell of sweat off." You said, finally getting both shoes on properly. She nodded.

"Are you excited for the tournament?" the red-head questioned you. You nodded vigorously.
"You betcha. I can't wait to show off to the others how strong I've gotten since I started training!"
"Well, you can do that all you want at the tournament, and you can bet I'll be watching the whole thing! I wanna watch you beat some of the pompous assholes into the ground!" Arty laughed, earning an elbow from Suki, who was trying to hide a smile. Soon, you slowed to a stop, and Arty parked, and you all got out.

You spotted the others, who were already sitting on the bar stools, leaving three open seats. You sauntered up to them, wrapping your arms around Haru and Aech's necks.
"The party has arrived!~" You sang, smiling. Haru shoved you off, the edges of his lips turning up into the smallest smile.
"So, you finally made it!" OA teased, their locs pulled out of their face, revealing their pretty golden eyes.

You rolled your eyes at them.
"Oh hush, unless you want to sit next to the sweatiest person on the face of the planet." You teased back, sitting in one of the open seats. The owner walked up and asked for your order.
"Oh, I'll have the Miso soup." You hummed with a smile. You'd been here multiple times before, and wanted to try all the flavors before you chose a favorite.

"So, who here is ready to have a good time?"

~Time Skip~

You patted your full stomach as Arty and Suki gave you a ride home. Arty was passed out asleep in the passenger seat, and Suki was driving. When you got to your place, you paused before getting out.
"Hey, Suki?"
"Hmm?"

You blushed a little.
"Um, would you mind taking the capsules with all my crap in it with you and keeping an eye on it. I'm afraid I'll lose them..." She stared at you for a moment before bursting out into laughter.
"Of course! How about this, I'll come by tomorrow and pick them up, how's that sound?"
"Great! Thanks, Suki, you're a lifesaver!"

You gave her a hug through the window of the car, and turned to start up the stairs. You unlocked the door, and started your nightly routine. You hummed lightly as you did so, and then packed up everything else you owned except a blanket and a pillow, before laying down to sleep. It took a little bit for you to fall asleep, but you were soon greeted by the familiar sight of the Void.
"Shall we get started?"
