I'm back! I have no idea how long it had been, but I hop to get a few chapters out. Imma be honest, I have no idea what is happening in this story, but I think I'm almost finished. I'm trying to plan a new story. I'll probably plan the whole thing before starting so I don't get writer's block.

"Oh please, you'll do fine." Jade rolls her eyes, taking a hold of your wrist.

You could hear Dave and his other friends snickering. You look behind you and glare at the group, who just pull faces at you in return. You pick up the guitar which had been sitting on a stand.

Jade had been teaching you to play the guitar for a few months, so you were getting pretty good. Sadly she had forgotten to bring her guitar, so you had to use one of the sad guitars that the school had stored in the music room.

"Be careful, the strings are fairly old." Jade hums.

You nod, now terrified that the string would snap. You strum the strings, making sure that they were in tune. You wince when they were in fact, not tuned.

"Okay, just tighten that one there," Jade states, "and then that one."

You do as she says, and strum once more, it now sounding much better.

"Okay, now just play what I taught you." Jade urges.

You let out a shaky breath, and begin to play with shaky hands. But unluckily for you, it was just as Jade had said, the strings were quite old.

You let out a shriek when you feel a sharp pain on your face. You drop the guitar, your hands flying up to press against your eye.

"Shit, (y/n)!"

"Fuck."

"Holy shit."

You feel someone beside you, a hand on your back.

"C'mon, let's get to the nurse." You hear Dave say.

You just let out a sob as Dave leads you out. One of your hands stays one your wound, while the other grips onto Dave's shirt.

"You guys just stay here," Dave states, "I'll text you when they're taken care of."

You hear the other mumbling in agreement.

"Geez, that's a fair amount of blood."

You could feel your tears begin to run down your face, stinging the fresh wound on your face. You could hear Dave talking, but it sounded fuzzy and you couldn't quite understand him.

The next thing you remember you were sitting on a bed, gauze covering your eye. You could hear Dirk's voice, probably talking to the doctor. When Dave walks in you give him a half-hearted smile. Your face still stung, which made it hard to smile.

"Hey, you alright?"

"As good as I could be looking like a pirate." You respond.

Dave gives you a lopsided grin, "well, you can be a pirate at home, let's go."

You slide off of the bed, your vision stirring.

"Ooh, don't like that." You grumble.

"Come on grandma." You Dave chides, grabbing a hold of your arm.

"Hey, you get a guitar string to the face and see how you fare."

Dave leads you along the corridor, where you could see Dirk waiting. When he sees you, he pushes himself off of the wall.

"Still alive and kicking, kiddo?" he asks as he ruffles your hair.

"Hey, watch it," you grumble, "one string isn't going to keep me down."

"That's good to hear," he responds, "now let's get out of here, smells funky."

"So, I'm lazy, so we're having packet stir fry for dinner," Dirk tells you as you enter the apartment.

"Sounds good," you mumble a reply, "I'm going to go and finish up some homework."

You head into your room, where your bag was already sitting. Dirk must have taken it home for you before picking you up. You decide to hop onto your computer for a bit, sitting on the chair and turning it on.

Instantly you see several pesters from people at school.

Mainly just people asking if you were alright, you reply to all of them, reassuring them that you just had a screwed up eye.

When you got to Karkat you paused for a moment, realising that he never left the chat.

CG: HEY

CG: I HEARD WHAT HAPPENED, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?

CT: Hey, Karkat, I'm alright, just look like a pirate.

You leave the chat open but begin to do your homework that you were supposed to hand in, but you were kinda blinded by a guitar string so luckily you had more time to do it.

CG: THAT'S GOOD TO HEAR.

CT: Yeah, I guess.

CT: I'll be back at school tomorrow so you'll see me in all of my pirate-y glory.

CG: OKAY, I'LL SEE YOU TOMORROW THEN.

CT: Cool, thanks for checking in on me.

You let out a sigh, rubbing your forehead.

By the time you begin to continue your work, Dave walks into your room.

"Hey, dinners ready."

"Okay, be there in a sec."

Dave nods before leaving. You turn off your computer, catching your reflection in the black screen. The white cotton eye patch covered your eye; from the bottom and top of the eyepatch you could see the bandage that they had used to stop the bleeding. You let out a sigh and push yourself out of the seat, heading out to dinner.
