Chapter 24

"Who? "

Kevin wasn't sure if that was genuine or a joke.

"You. If you'll let me marry you, of course. "

Avi felt a pang of shock run through him.

"o-oh... me? "

"Yes you, gorgeous. Who else? We've been through hell and back together and we've still come out on top. Almost broke up even. But it was worth it. I'm even getting a kid out of it. Of course it's you I wanna marry. "

"Oh... "

"You didn't think so? "

"We'll talk about it later can we finish packing the bags? "

"Sure. "

Kevin helped him sit up while they sorted the last of the gifts and disposed of the boxes.

"I think we're done. "

"Yup! "

Avi's phone rang, Esther. "

"Hey, Es. "

"Hey, listen. You guys nearly done with whatever? "

"Ya-huh. Why? "

"Time. "

Avi checked the clock and chocked on air.

"I didn't notice!! Esther we're sorry!!! "

"It's fine just hurry and get here. "

"We will! "

Avi cut the call and turned to Kevin.

"We're running late. "

"I know, I've packed our bags. Go shower and get dressed. "

Avi ran into the bathroom and fixed himself up. Coming out 20 minutes later and they were ready to go.

"Hide the bags. "

"I have. "

Kevin held up the duffel bag.

"Love you. "

"Love you too. "

They met the others downstairs and they left the hotel for the venue. In the car, on the way to the venue Kirstie was just dying to ask a question.

"What's with the duffel bag? "

"Something... Important. "

"Like...? "

"You'll see. "

Avi came to his boyfriends rescue, much to Kirstie's demise. They arrived at the venue and--

"MOMMY!!! DADDY!!! "

"MY LITTLE KISSY BOY!!! "

Mike and Nel were outside waiting for them and them being there, Mitch perked up and threw himself out of the still moving car and rolled on the ground before running over to his parents. Scott seemed traumatised.

"Scott chill he's still alive. "

"uh... i... "

The rest of the band left the car and entered the venue.

"Mitchie never do that again! I had a mini heart attack. "

"But... But mommy and daddy... "

"But nothing baby! I don't wanna lose my precious. "

They carried on walking Scott finding his mother coming out the bathroom and Kirstie's mother in her dressing room. Avi and Kevin walked to their dressing room but Avi was pulled back by someone.
