3 months time skip
The band had gone over to the Avin household to discuss the Billboard Music Awards.
"You guys have been nominated for the Billboard Music Awards."
Esther explained as the band listened inventively. Or tried to. Quincey was blabbering up a storm with his mother. Kevin was laughing at the interaction. The trio being rather amused by the duo. Esther rolled her eyes when Quincey squealed again, interrupting her.
"Avi, Quincey. Please."
Avi pouted at his sister but hushed the child in his arms, letting his sister go back to what she was saying.
"You're up against quite some big names, though."
"Do you not have faith in us, Esther?"
Scott questioned, raising an eyebrow at her. (Don't even 😑 Leave him alone.)
"No. But it is Taylor Swift--"
"We're not winning simple as."
The whole band laughed in agreement with Mitch's statement. Quincey squealed.
"But there is a problem."
Esther soon stated, hushing the group.
"You'll have to bring Quince."
The parents looked at each other, uncertainty written in their eyes. Avi looked back at his sister.
"Are you sure there's no one to watch him?"
"Either he comes, or one of you don't go."
Both band mates were 10000% ready to stay home with their kid, no questions asked. But there was definitely opposition from the other side about it.
"No way you guys are not coming unless you're sick."
"You have to come, guys!!"
"Yeah! We'll help with Quince. Please come."
This forced the other two to rethink. Before Avi caved.
"Fine. We'll go."
The trio and Esther seemed very happy about this. Kevin turning Avi to face him.
"Are you sure? I know you don't want him the public eye yet and with everything you came out with recently still at large--"
"Kevin, I know it's not ideal, but it'll be ok. Besides, "
He cupped his boyfriends face in his hands.
"We have you to look after us! Don't we, bub? Yeah!"
Avi held the squealing baby up to look at him as he talked to the infant, who was babbling in agreement with whatever his mom said to him. Avi looked back at Kevin, a smile on his face.
"See? Quincey trusts you. and so do I."
A smile played with Kevin's lips. He couldn't hep but give his boys their own special kisses.
"I might make you feel better, but you sure do know how to reassure me, Avi."
"It's the one thing I'm good at."
"That and carrying my child safely."
"I guess."
Kevin kissed him one more time and Quincey wasn't to happy about it, thought it was yucky if you ask him, he slipped his hand in between his parent's faces, forcibly pushing them apart making everyone in the room laugh. Including them.
"Alright. I'll call management and get them to email the coordinators and Billboard directors and producers so they know to expect you guys. The awards are being hosted next month so you have time to get ready. I'll book a fitting with Candace for you all."
She stood up and walked out the room to make the phone call. Scott turning to look at the pairing.
"You know. We do mean it by we'll help."
"We know. We're just seriously cautions about him being near all these cameras."
"We'll make sure his face isn't seen. You can count on us!"
"We know. Thanks guys."
Quincey squealed once again before they all talked about their outfits for the event, Esther coming back in to discuss with them.
However, all of them eventually managed to overstayed their welcome per Quincey's banshee like screaming of doneness.
"Ok, someone needs to go to bed. "
"We'll go home. Bye guys."
"Later."
The trio and Esther piled out the house and into their cars leaving the family to themselves.
Little Quincey wasn't tired or hungry at all for that matter though...
Turns out all little Quincey wanted was some mommy, daddy and baby time in front of the TV.

And whilst you're at it...
Go check out the collaboration I'm doing with MackLynn2020 on her page! Yes it is another PTX book. It's called It Takes Five and we're doing well so far. And go read her other books cause she's a real great author and a joy to work with👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 (UPDATE: I'm in a rut and it hasn't been updated in a while, she's been on a role with her Because You're Mine series that has a sequel called And I Am Yours and they're really good ABO books that really fuhking hurt to read so... go enjoy, get some tissues, trigger warnings but they're practically the same as this series so if you made it through here you might be able to get through that yet it is more intense than here... but yeah)
K that's all. Bye for now👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾
