WEREWOLVES NO.2 || untamed ??

"where are you? show yourself!" Jace called out into the night.

after having the same continuous feeling of being watched for an hour now, Jace was beginning to feel threatened. his wolf rose up at the sudden outburst of adrenaline, and it growled through Jace as he whirled around to keep looking through the darkness.

twigs cracked loudly nearby, and Jace narrowed his eyes at a dark figure emerging from the gloom. he wore a twisted smile with insanely gold eyes, and ink-black hair that just barely reached his jaw. "hello Jace. nice to see you again. mind telling me where Rhi is located?"

Jace curled his lip in disgust. "hell no, you freak. and i can't believe you even came out here! you and your friend Alaric were just as dumb as i expected you to be."

Malice's evil grin didn't falter. he laughed. "that's a hell of an attitude you've got there, kid. you might want to use it for what i'm about to do next if you don't comply to my question: where is Rhi?"

"again, not telling you," Jace spat. "can't you take a hint?"

he knew he was supposed to be downright terrified of Malice, but something about the way he stood around in the dark forest for two hours with no company or entertainment, waiting for two people that might never come... it had only sharpened his annoyance and anger to the extreme.

Malice's grin faded and then was replaced by a terrifying scowl. he towered over Jace now, with Jace having just realized that the other werewolf had gotten closer to him. "i'd be careful what i say around someone like me, you insolent and ignorant pup. i'm way more than what i seem to be, and tonight will be my night. if you keep standing in my way, then i'll rip you apart limb from limb. i don't care how young you are, or if you have a family."

Jace, of course, suddenly felt fearful, and the sense knocked back into him upon hearing those awful words. "but... you can't get to Rhi. it isn't fair for us.. we won't allow it."

Malice said nothing else - instead, his muscles rippled as he tore off his black tank-top with a sigh. "then i'll have to find her myself."

he then turned into a monstrous black nightmare that was clearly bigger than a horse; and before Jace could think how impossible it was to shift right now, Malice had already disappeared.

Rhi wanted to attack Alaric so badly, but then the next phase of the plan flashed through her head. of course! we lure them both to the waterfall, then make them fall off the cliff so they can die on the sharp rocks below...

"hey Alaric... you do want to catch me, right? and you want to take me straight to Malice as well, right?"

Alaric narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "yes... but why would that matter right now? you obviously already know your fate will draw to a close if you don't comply. Malice may not want to kill you, but i will."

well there was something Rhi didn't want to hear right now.

"then you'll have to get me first!" and without warning, Rhi did the unthinkable, and ran away from Alaric. he shouted and crashed after her, somehow gaining.
