I shivered through my heavy cloaks, as the the harsh mountain wind hit me. We had lept to Nix, a newly built Neverseen hideout on Mount Everest. I ran to the nearest cave. I noticed a white eye carved into the stone of farthest wall. pulling a knife out of my boot, I cut my hand, spilling blood all over the symbol. a faint white glow erupted as the rocks split open to reveal a door. I ripped my cape to use as a bandage while my team and I walked in.
"So Noctis, why are you so willing to help?" Tam, his sister said his name was, asked suspiciously.
"I want to make my point to Gisela." I said in a hurt voice. "She just left me. I want to let her know that she can't just do that. No one can. It is not fair."
"Wait you think the Neverseen are fair?" Keefe asked. "You think mommy dearest cares about you?"
"She cares about you." I said, my voice cracking. "She cares about you a little less then herself, but better then nothing, right?"
"Why did you join?" Linh, Tam's twin asked.
I ignored her, and kept walking. Now is not the time for questions. Now is time to shed some blood. My mother's blood.
