The Encounter (Gladion x Reader)

*y/n POV*

You wake up to Eevee licking your face. It's another day. Another morning. Another day to go out and explore to make friends, and maybe even catch a Pokémon.

"Good morning Eevee"

"Eevee"

You change into your grey crop top with blue jean shorts with grey high socks coming up to your knees and black boots. You feel like you're forgetting something. You run back into your room and grab your red with black lining hat and peach backpack with a Pokeball on it and run downstairs to leave to get started on your day. But you get stopped in your tracks.

"Hold up y/n, aren't you going to eat before you go?" y/n mom said

You grab a granola bar and a water

"Bye mom, bye dad, see ya Sun" y/n said

"bye" they all said at once

And before you knew it, you and Eevee were out the door running around the island looking for something to do.

"Eevee, why don't we catch a Pokémon. We can make another friend for you and me"

"Eevee!" Eevee said excited

So we decided to head into the woods, not knowing a certain someone was close behind watching us

Eevee and I were walking around the woods looking for a Pokémon to catch. You'd think walking in the woods there'd at least be one Pokémon. Then we heard a bush ruffle. We hid behind another one to see if it was a Pokémon. Sure enough it was. It was a Nine Tails. Its was tan and had gorgeous bright red eyes. But it wasn't from the Alola region. 'I wonder how it got here?' I thought. But that didn't concern me at the moment. What I saw next made my heart stop. It looked hurt. Bad. It was scratched and its fur was all messed up. It saw me and Eevee in the bushes staring at it and I thought it was going to attack us, but then it collapsed.

"OH MY GOD!" I said

I ran towards to Nine Tails looking at it making sure it was still breathing. She was. Looking at her made me start to tear up. She looked so bad. Really bad.

"Who or what could do this to you?" I said

*Gladion's POV*

I was walking when I saw y/n and her Eevee decide to head into the woods.

"I wonder what she's up too"

So I decided to follow her. 'Why am I so interested in this girl all of a sudden. Snap out of it Gladion'. I then see her hide behind a bush so I did the same to see what was happening. A hurt Nine Tails appeared and it spots y/n and her Eevee. I thought it was going to attack her so I was about to jump and scare it away when it collapsed.

"OH MY GOD!" y/n said

I saw her run up to the hurt Nine Tails and see her start to tear up. 'Man she gets emotional'

"Who or what could do this to you?"

'I think I may know who'

*y/n POV*

I take out my first aid kit in my bag and start to clean up some of the wounds. Then the Nine Tails jolted up. I must have hurt the cut badly and awoken it

"I'm sorry" I said

It gave me an angry, yet fearful look in it's eyes

"I'm only trying to help you. You're hurt badly. Please." I said

The Nine Tails nodded its head and let me clean her up

"I'm y/n by the way. And this is my partner Eevee"
