- 6:30 pm.

About three hours later, Dib came through the living room door of his home. Gaz glanced at him. Her eyes then stuck on him when he was staring back.

"What..." Gaz said.

"Is dad home yet?" Dib asked.

"He's in the garage..." Gaz said, "Why?"

"Seeeeeee...." Dib started, "Zim and I are moving to New York and... Do you want to come with us or stay here with dad?..."

Gaz raised a brow with interest. She knew that her dad would probably get a babysitter for her if she was alone in the house. However, New York seemed interesting.

"What's in it for me?" Gaz asked, "Why should I go with you?"

"Well, you don't really have to listen to dad anymore," Dib said, "plus whatever you want to do there, I guess you can do as long as it's nothing stupid..."

"Soooooo I can start my own video game there?...."

Dib shrugged. He didn't really care. He just wanted to take her mainly because his dad might say no to him leaving if she's left behind. He's pretty much in charge of Gaz most of the time. Gaz folded her hands and smirked.

"Okay~" Gaz said, "Are you going to go ask dad?"

Dib nodded before leaving for the garage. He saw bright green flashes flickering from the door leading to the garage. He opened it, squinting, and stepped down the stairs. Professor Membrane was creating something indescribable at first, but it had the frame of a person.

"Dad, I'm taking Gaz to live in New York with me and Zim," Dib said and immediately headed back upstairs.

"Alright, son! Have fun!" Professor Membrane said.

His eyes then stretched. He sharply looked back at the door and placed down his tools. When Dib made it back to the surface, he saw that Gaz's game system was unplugged from the TV and so were her games. He chuckled a little. He then flinched at the sound of strong footsteps.

"Whoa whoa whoa, Dib. You're moving??" Professor Membrane asked.

"Zim found a place in New York for us to live in..." Dib answered, "He said that it was a good place to go, and I know you don't want Gaz by herself here..."

"W-W-Wait... uh what do you need New York for when you have this-... beautiful City??" Professor Membrane asked, "It's full of such innovation here, son!"

"Well, he said that there's people there that will be beneficial to our kids' lives..." Dib said, "Besides, it's probably for the best... I won't have to be called crazy there. It's not like people here are gonna be crazy about me leaving, ya know?"

"But son, you have so many people who care about you here!" Membrane said, "Like there's me, and Gaz, and... that little robot thing that's with Zim!"

"Gir's coming with us too," Dib said.

"When are you leaving?"

"Based on how fast everyone's packing, probably tonight," Dib answered as honestly as he could.

Professor Membrane began to sweat. Dib saw his father's hands shaking. He watched as his father struggled with words.

"Alright," he said, "but may I please hold them?"

Dib looked at him a bit suspiciously. However, it would be strange to ask why his father would want to hold his grandchildren. Still, it didn't feel right for the Professor to ask such a thing.

"I mean..." Dib started, "You don't seem like the affectionate type..."

"Well, I just want to hold my grandsons andobservetheirDNA BUT-"

"I can't let you do that, dad..." Dib said.

"And why not?"

"I promised Zim that I wouldn't give their DNA away..." Dib said, "I promised this, and I don't want to break his trust... Our relationship was very rocky before and I don't want it to go back to that. We're a lot happier now."

"Dib, the scientific community would be amazed by this!" Professor Membrane started, "The evidence of another new life form coming to Earth that can breed with humans is something that the world needs to know!"

Dib pause at that part.

"...Another?"....

The man froze and folded his hands behind his back.

"Well, I mean..."

"So, you knew?..."

"Dib, that's a bit complicated to explain what I just said. However, know that those children's DNA's going to the scientific community is far more important than you realize, son..."

Dib glared at him, "You're just going to use them to lift your career up, aren't you..."

"Son, you don't understand," the man started, "It's very important that you- Dib wait!"

Dib was already marching up the stairs to pack everything in his room. Professor Membrane pulled on his sleeves.

"I have to get that DNA and submit it or else this is gonna cause trouble!"
