The night was chilly enough for the group to wear light jackets. They were placing their bags in Zim's ship. They were going to take that as their ride. Gaz didn't pack much, so she was resting her eyes in the back seat of the ship. She was in the middle of Gir and the triplets. Fil looked at Gaz and saw her wearing a bracelet. She had found a black and purple beaded bracelet while packing her stuff and forgot to take it off. He saw her bracelet and pulled on it. It snapped back on her wrist hard, waking her up.

Zim had gotten in the driver's seat while Dib was tying two mattresses to the back of the ship. He finished up and got in the passenger's seat. Zim looked at Dib and smiled.

"Excited?~"

Dib smiled at him tiredly.

"You really wasted no time to move..."

"I saw an opportunity and took it, Dib," Zim replied, "It was only a matter of time before I moved locations on earth anyway..."

He started up the ship. It began to slowly ascend into the air.

"What stopped you?..." Dib asked.

Zim didn't reply at first. A few cars stopped, seeing a foreign ship rising above the streets. People in their cars and pedestrians alike looked above in shock. Some of the bystanders were those from their class. The students then looked over and noticed that Zim's house was gone. The neighbors next door to Zim were visibly smiling on their couch, happy that those huge wires were no longer intruding into their home. Zim looked at Dib.

"....I believe that the way things played out now is probably better for me in the long run..." Zim said.

Dib smiled and kissed his cheek. The ship then zipped off eastward. The students watched a flash of light shoot off. A strong gust of wind blew past them. They then looked at each other.

"..... I told you he was an alien, Gretchen."

"Dude..." She said.

Gaz immediately reached for one of the bags of chips the group packed. She then placed in her earbuds and plugged it into her game. Gir looked down at all the brightly lit buildings below.

"Goodbyyyye City," Gir said.

Dib looked at Zim and smiled. His face started tingling. He instinctively looked out of the window. Zim noticed the action.

"I see that you're nervous. However it's a good kind of nervous..." Zim said, "...I feel it too...."

"Is this how you felt when you first came to earth?"

"....Yes and no..." Zim said, "I felt both the good and bad nervous...Like it was a new opportunity to prove myself to the Tallest... yet it felt off... I know you have experience with putting off a sudden feeling because you feel it's ridiculous, only to find that it's true later on..."

"...Definitely..." Dib said.

Zim caressed Dib's chin, "Well, I did have my doubts of the mission. However I believed it to be a healthy doubt. I believed I was the greatest, yet you can't be too braggy. I had that type of attitude."

Dib nodded, which made Zim smile. He glanced at Dib and focused on the sky. He pressed a button to place the ship on auto pilot and proceeded to take off his right glove. He then placed his hand on Dib's chin again. Dib's face started burning up from the touch. He was so used to Zim's glove.

"Sorry... I never got to really feel your face except when I kiss you..." Zim said quietly.

Dib for some odd reason expected Zim's hands to be cold, yet they were warm and fleshy like his. Of course his hand felt thinner, but it wasn't too much off from someone on earth's hand. Zim then felt Dib's hair and found it interesting. It shook something in Dib's mind. He placed his hand on Zim's and felt it. Zim just grabbed his hand and smiled while watching where they were going in the sky.

"Zim?...."

Zim twitched an antenna.

"...I'm sorry..."

Zim fought a smile and looked at Dib again.

"Stop doing that so much..."

"Apologizing?" Dib asked.

"No, saying stuff that's gonna make me all emotional..." Zim said and chuckled, "Look, I get it now... Besides, you kept your promise to not give away the boy's DNA to your father... So, I forgive you," He then frowned, "... I'm sorry about what happened between you and him..."

"Well, I told him that I wasn't going to give him the DNA... If he's upset about it, then so be it... I made a promise to you..." Dib said, "I meant every loving word that I said to you, Zim..."

Zim smiled, "Regardless... I feel like things are looking up," Zim said, "Now, let's just hope that whatever happens here in this new territory will be enough for us to handle... If not, I do have a backup plan."

Zim placed his glove back on. The ship continued its way through the night sky. Rain drops started splattering on the windows of the ship. They had run under a rain cloud. Dib crossed his arms and closed his eyes. His chest was fighting a lot of feelings of worry, especially about what his father said. He told his mind that he will worry about it in the morning, but for now, things were actually feeling good.

-3 am, Rainy

Professor Membrane watched the night sky on the roof, long after the spacecraft headed off. He headed back into the house and to his room. He eyed his luggage by the closet door, wondering if he would even have time to go visit one day. He checked his schedule and scanned for a free week. He wouldn't have a free week until April of 2007, and that was a big maybe.

He groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose. He circled the week anyway and headed to bed. He planned to visit his son again one day, for it would be for the greater good. Dib was running way with too little of an understanding of what he just unearthed on earth and in his family.
