SCENE 7

CUT-TO.

INT. HALLWAY. DAY

Forever stuck in the hours midway in the day no matter what the weather is outside, the hallways gave Andrew a sinking feeling in the pit of his gut. The way the wallpaper still peeled slowly, the water always seems to leek in, and something could still creep in and out of the shadows. Upon reaching the large wooden doors of the Superintendent's office something else caught his eyes. Across from the doors the way a man. Just standing with his face looking a the wall. Andrew cautiously goes up to the man to see if he's responsive.

ANDREW. Excuse me, but sudden you be outside in working in the fields. Hello, you okay in there.

The man is unresponsive even when Andrew waves his hand in front of his face.

SUPERINTENDENT. Andrew?

A shocked Andrew quickly tries to regain his compressor.

ANDREW. Eek. S-superintendent, I-I was just about to see you.

SUPERINTENDENT. Well you saw me and you have two minutes to talk with me.

CUT-TO.

INT. SUPERINTENDENT OFFICE. DAY.

Both gentleman enter the office. The first thing that caught Andrew's eyes were the collection of pined up butterflies and bugs right next to the superintendent's many degrees. On the table there's a glass box full of taxidermy squirrels playing poker I silly little hats.  The superintendent looks through the neatly stack bookshelf full of past and present patient information. Each marked with the year on the book's spine in red ink. Moreover, there seemed to be books marked with years in the near future as well.

ANDREW. Who's that fellow outside.

SUPERINTENDENT. Oh him. He's from the severe ward. Cases that are too serve for regular physician and require more....treatment.

ANDREW. Oh....What classify someone to the serve ward?

SUPERINTENDENT. Someone who's vehement, perverse, contradictory, insubordinate, and defective more than usually. Basically someone in need of a cure. You got twenty seconds left.

ANDREW. Ah.... Right ....I would like to visit the city over the weekend. If you don't mind.

Andrew said while scanning the book as quickly as possible.
