Henry was sitting on the lumpy mattress he also sat. He would get up but he was currently wearing a straight jacket that was tied to a

ANDREW. H-Hello, H-Henry how are we doing this fine day?

Under Henry eyes there were reddish bags and wrinkles. Even though the weather outside was warm he wrapped himself with a heavy blanket. His back is pressed against the  starches on the wall.

HENRY. Not great.

ANDREW. Do you think day's the day the finally tell me why you are acting like this way?

HENRY. (Shakes his head no.)

ANDREW. Can you give me a hint or maybe a clue?

HENRY. (Shakes his head no.)

SILENCE.

ANDREW. Henry.... I'm so sorry you had to go with Frank a few days ago.

SILENCE.

ANDREW. But this is very serious. The superintendent is thinking about sending you to the severe ward.

Henry is shock and moving his hand. The wall looks even more scratch up. Including the bed frame and the bedding.

HENRY.What!?!

ANDREW. I'm sorry, but I'm your...a doctor and I just wanted you to know.

HENRY. (Freaking out)But, I-I can't go there. Have you seen the patients?

ANDREW. Henry, please.

HENRY. (Freaking out)There's nothing..... Their like shells or puppets.

ANDREW. But, that won't happen.

Henry grabs his chest.

ANDREW. I think I can still figure this out. Is there something you're not telling anything at all about your past.

HENRY. (Panicking but trying to remain cool.)  Nope. No. T-there'sss nothing more to ssssay! Nothing at all!

Andrew still continues but looks even more concerned.

ANDREW. I know but there has to be more.... Once ...you think ....about it hard enough.

Henry slopes over, pale and sweating. 

HENRY. (BREATHING HEAVILY.) Tell me isss.... There.... a doctor's code ....o_or something about keeping.....ssssecrets.

Andrew stops.

ANDREW. Are you okay!?!

Henry looks like he's in pain. Andrew jumps up and tries to help.

ANDREW. Henry? What's...

HENRY. I'm fine.

Andrew wants to help.

ANDREW. Let me help...

HENRY.I didn't need any help. I'm fin..

ANDREW. NO YOUR NOT! I'm a doctor I know when someone is in pai..

Henry glares at Andrew, with his blue eye that had been tint red at the edges of his iris. 

HENRY. (Yells.)YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!

Andrew steps retracts back . Henry starts to breath normally.

HENRY. Gasp Gasp Cough. I'm sorry. Cough. I'm sorry. Your right. You are my doctor after all. You know what's best

He grabs his shirt and slowly starts to unbutton it.

HENRY.Okay. So for many years I had chest pains and problems.

Then shows Andrew a giant growth on his chest.

HENRY.I believe that this is the cause.

ANDREW. The growth.

HENRY.Yes

ANDREW. How recent is it again?

HENRY.Oh.....relatively r-recent. I-I'm pretty sure. A-a couple of y-years to be excite...

ANDREW. I have a theory. That this growth is the cause of your madness. And if we remove it o-or erase it for that matter it should make you sane again. Oh course well have to find a surgeon. Maybe the superintendent would know.

HENRY. You can't be serious?

ANDREW. I am, why?

HENRY. Well.

ANDREW. You don't want to leave, do you?

HENRY. Well. Maybe it's better that I stay locked away. I mean what if it doesn't work? What if I go out and do something horrible?

ANDREW. Did you do that before?

HENRY.You're also forgetting I could be mad. I could hurt someone. That's what they been telling me.

ANDREW. Well you're forgetting that it could work. You could go back to normal. You could even stop having night terrors. I mean do you really want to stay here forever?

HENRY. Forever...?

He looks off to the side.

HENRY. No....that cannot happen.
