i was awaken by the sound of my alarm, i checked the time on my phone to see that it is 9 a.m. i groaned and turned on snooze rolling back over, pulling the the covers over my head. as soon as i closed my eyes, my door burst open making me jump. i sat up to see val at my door, i sighed and laid back down.

"wake up bitch we just ordered food."

i immediately got out of bed at the thought of food. i stretched, cracking my neck and back. i put on a sweatshirt and walked down the stairs to see nick and clay sitting at the kitchen table while val went to wake up everyone else.

"goooood morning." i said to the boys as i yawned and looked into our takeout bags. they mumbled in response. as i peeked into the bag i saw we ordered pancakes, waffles, coffee and various other breakfast items from ihop. i grabbed the styrofoam containers out of the bags and laid them all out on the counter so they were easy access. val started to make her way down the stairs which told me that she had woken up everyone and they were on their way. i reached into the cupboard and grabbed four plates for the people who were currently downstairs. i filled my plate with pancakes, bacon, waffles, eggs and hash browns, wanting to make the most of the breakfast. in the midst of cutting a slice out of my pancake, i saw george come down the stairs and my face warmed up as i remembered the events from last night.

he leaned in close to my face, close enough i could feel his lips hovering over mine. "that damn towel." he said before his lips touched mine and he closed the gap between the two of us. i felt the same sparks i had felt the night in the rain when we first met. i brought my hands up to his hair as i leaned in to the kiss. i brought my hands back to the bed and shifted slightly so that i had my arms propped up on either side of him. i pulled away to catch my breath and smiled as he tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. i was leaning back in when we both heard a knock on my door. we quickly scrambled up and i shoved george into the bathroom.

"goodnight y/n." he said with a smirk as he closed the bathroom door behind him. i groaned as i walked over to open my door to see nick standing there.

i got startled when i heard the chair next to me moving, i looked over to see george sitting next to me.

"good morning." he said to me as he gave me a goofy smile. i smiled in response and put my slice of pancake in my mouth. he leaned in to my ear and whispered into it, "i hope you know i will never forgive nick for last night." i choked on my pancake as he sat back in his chair, laughing hysterically. i slapped him on the arm as everyone came and sat down around the table.

"okay so, today i was thinking we could go to the arcade." said nick as we all were eating our breakfast. i gave him a big grin when he told us. i loved arcade games and was pretty good at them, not to toot my own horn. everyone else seemed equally excited as we all finished eating. i handed my plate to tommy and eleanor as they were on dish duty today and raced up the stairs to get in the shower. about fifteen minutes later i got out of the shower and walked into my room to change and get ready for the day. once everyone was ready, we got into the car with nick driving because he knew the way to the arcade. we pulled into the crowded parking lot about twenty ish minutes later. i practically jumped out of the car and ran to the doors, waiting for everyone to catch up. we walked in and the arcade aroma hit me head on. i took a deep breath in and walked over to the front desk to get my tokens, grabbing george's hand and dragging him behind me. everyone else followed behind us. i grabbed my bucket and stepped into the game filled lobby, trying to decide where to go first. i headed off to my right and figured i would circle around. the day was filled from swapping from game to game, some winning tickets, some just for fun. we played a few rounds of racing which ended with clay coming in last and getting up from his seat, storming off. we all sat there and laughed for a few minutes before george and i made our way to the games where everyone is destined to get tickets. i walked up to the big wheel of fortune inspired wheel and put two tokens into it before giving it a big spin. i stepped back as i watched the small black pointer behind thrown around by the different values on the slivers. it slowly started to come to a stop as i eyed the 10k jackpot. it came closer and closer and the wheel began to slow down even more. i watched as the plastic pointer stopped on the jackpot, making me scream with excitement. i turned around and ran to george. he picked me up and spun me around as we laughed, watching the tickets flow out of the machine. i shoved them all into my bucket and looked up at george.
