it started with the stream { georgenotfound x reader }

"since you basically just woke up and are probably not all that tired, do you wanna play?"

i felt my mouth twist into a big grin as i nodded excitedly. he laughed as i ran over to my computer and sat down in the chair. george walked into his room to grab his mouse and hooked it up to his laptop.

"okay what are we up for? server, speed run, my world, your world?" i asked leaving the conversation open for suggestions.

"how about we start a new world together?" he asked. i felt my face heat up at his suggestion but tried to brush it off.

"i love it." i said as i logged onto the minecraft home screen and clicked create new world. "what should we call it?" i asked him as my fingers hovered over the keyboard.

"hmm," george hummed as he looked around the room to think of a good name, "what about 'george is a minecraft legend.'" he said with a smirk on his face.

"okay great!" i said as i typed the name 'george stinks' and created the world, laughing at the name.

"you know what y/n," he said looking offended, "i regret ever bringing up those tenders for you." he crossed his arms and spun away from me in his chair. i laughed at him as i looked away from my screen and pulled his shoulders back so he was facing me again.

"we both know that's not true." i said giving him a wink and turning back to my computer screen to see where i had spawned into the world. i moved my mouse around to look at the surroundings. we had spawned in between an oak forest biome and a desert which were both very useful. the north end of the desert faded off into a dark oak forest and there was an acacia biome just past the regular oak.

"okay george, what's the plan?" i asked him as he spawned in and took in our surroundings.

"i say we have a chill world. you know, make a big house, get some diamonds, go to the nether, make some cool stuff. something we can continuously choose to play on instead of just speeding running it." he said while he ran over to one of the oak trees and started cutting it down.

"i think that is a great idea." i said turning to face him. he looked back at me and we both smiled at each other, excited to start the world. i looked at the clock and saw it was about two fifteen in the morning, why is he staying up with me i thought he should be going to bed. "hey george are you sure you don't want to go to sleep?" i asked him as i was crafting basic wooden tools. "i can always just start this by myself and build the basics. i'm not that much worse than you."

"yeah y/n i'm fine! plus after what happened after the stream i want you to know how much i care about you." he turned to me and gave me a lopsided smile as my face turned bright red and my heart melted in my chest. he chucked at my reaction and added on to his response, "but i also don't trust you to build this all alone. don't forget how long it took you to build your cafe..."

"shut up." i said as i shielded my face from him and punched his minecraft character with my fist. he finished cutting down a tree and replanted the sapling. he walked over to my crafting bench and responded to me,

"okay, lets get this going."

"GEORGE," i whisper screamed so i wouldn't wake up any of the others, "WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME GO MINING?" he laughed as the cave spiders came running after me after i accidentally dropped down into a spawner. he covered his mouth to try and muffle his intense laughter as i continued to run from the spiders. "THIS IS NOT FUNNY. I AM GOING TO DIE." i said as i spun around, hitting a few of the spiders and knocking them back a few feet.

"it's pretty funny," george replied. i took my hand off my keyboard and flipped him off as i killed the last spider. "plus, mining is boring. and you take too long to build so i decided to do it myself."

"you suck have you even seen my single player world? my buildings are so beautiful." i said in response as i ran around the mineshaft, looking for diamonds.

"sure y/n. whatever you say." he responded. i glared at him and he threw his hands up in a defensive way. i turned back to my screen smiling and opened up a mine-cart chest.

"DIAMONDS!" i exclaimed as i grabbed the four diamonds from the chest. george wooed with excitement and gave me a high five as i looked up to see diamond ore on the ceiling above me. "THERES MORE?" i mined the five more diamonds and checked the clock to see it was around four seventeen am. i decided that the diamonds would be a good ending point for the time being. i started to make my way up to the surface as george continued on the house. i emerged from the depths of the cave a few blocks behind our house. i looked at it in awe. it was a large two story house made out of a mixture of oak wood, birch planks and birch leaves. he also had a few hints of dark oak in there. i'm not sure how he made all of the different woods actually look good together but he really did a good job with it. the perimeter was covered with flowers and trees, as well as a few pumpkins or wheat plants around.

"not too bad george. not too bad at all." i said to him as i walked around to view the house from the front. i walked in and saw the bottom had been nicely decorated with flowerpots and various blocks to make it look more homey. i walked over to the main room and saw a ladder leading down into the earth inside of the fireplace. i went down it to find an enchanting room and nether portal room ready to be set up when we obtain all the materials. i nodded my head in approval and climbed back up the ladder. after surveying the downstairs area i walked up the staircase at the end of the living room and began to look at the second floor. i look through various 'guest rooms' before finding one final door at the end of the hall. i opened the door to see george decorating the room with flowerpots and red stone lanterns. i looked at the back wall and saw two beds, placed next to each other. i felt my heart speed up as i looked at the white beds next to each other, surrounded by pink carpet. i tried my best to hide my fluster from george as i clicked on the bed to save my spawn point. i turned to him,

"on that note i think it's a good time to log off for the night. we need sleep, especially you. aren't we doing something in the afternoon tomorrow??" i said to him as he brought his character over and clicked on the bed next to me. he stretched his arms up and yawned.

"good idea," he said as we both clicked off the world, "i think we are going on a sunset picnic tomorrow? i'm not sure i'll have to check with nick." he said and i nodded in approval good choice nick i thought. george grabbed his laptop and mouse and put them back into his room before closing the door to the bathroom to get ready for bed. i pulled the pillows of my bed and threw them in a neat pile at the foot of the bed. i then pulled the covers back and hopped into the bed, feeling the warmth of the covers hitting the exposed parts of my legs that my shorts did not cover. i rolled onto my right side and faced the door as i waited for george to come out of the bathroom and say goodnight. i felt my eyes start to get heavy as my head sank into my pillow. suddenly, george opened the door and walked into my room, sitting down on the bed beside me and whispering to me,

"goodnight y/n. i'm glad i brought you those tenders tonight." he smiled and i smiled back, chuckling at his comment. as her stood up i carefully grabbed his wrist. he turned back toward me and looked down at our hands, tilting his head to the side and cocking an eyebrow.

"i want you to stay." i said as i carefully tugged him toward the bed, wanting to make sure he was comfortable with staying before i pulled him down. i used my spare hand to pat the left side of the bed. "it's so cold and lonely on this side of the bed," i said patting up and down the sheet, "i think it's the only option." i gave him a playful shrug and he laughed in response, climbing onto the spot that was free next to me on the bed.

"you are such a weirdo."
