it started with the stream { georgenotfound x reader }

"goodnight george. sleep well," i said quietly as i gave the camera a kiss. "i love you." i added, hanging up the call.

i thought about my actions from the previous night as i tossed and turned. the thought of nate was engraved into my brain. i saw his face every time i closed my eyes. i squeezed my eyes shut as i rolled over, hoping to flush the image out. i flung them open, checking the clock and seeing that it was 4:03 am, meaning it was 11:03 for george. i sighed as i grabbed my phone, clicking onto spotify to listen to the rain sounds that usually helped me sleep when i couldn't. i put my phone back down and was about to roll over when i felt a buzz. i grabbed my phone and squinted at the notification from george on the bright screen. i silently prayed that he had actually been asleep last night and didn't hear what i said.

the photo was a picture taken of his computer, spotify opened showing what his friends are listening to. my face heat up in embarrassment but a wave of relief also flew through my body.

i was beginning to respond when another text bubble popped up

why are you awake? isn't it like 4 am?

he quickly added. i shook my head and responded to him.

i laughed as i opened up the camera and took a quick picture of myself blowing a kiss, the flash blinding me.

i gasped and opened up the camera again, taking another picture but replacing the first pose with me holding up my middle finger. i grinned and sent it to him.

he sent a second text before i could respond.

i have to go. clay is making me film with him right now. i can never escape. wish me luck.

the man is from florida y/n. what did you expect?

i rolled my eyes and gently set my phone down on the night stand, finally closing my eyes. the conversation with george filled my brain as the rain slowly faded.

my eyes burst open as i heard a crash coming from the kitchen. i turned and looked over at the clock,
8:26 am. i threw my covers off and stuck a hand under my bed, grabbing the mini baseball bat i kept under there for...emergencies. i tiptoed to my door and quietly opened it, shuffling my feet out into the hallway. i saw the shadow of a something eagerly moving around the kitchen as i took a deep breath

"AHHHHHHHHH" i screamed as i jumped into the view of the kitchen. i looked down to see nala standing amongst a pile of cluttered pots and pans. i shook my head lightly and crouched down to the ground, chuckling. "never do that to me ever again." i said as i placed the bat down and picked her up, bringing her back over to her bed. i made my way back to the kitchen and began to pick everything up when val yelled to me.

"Y/N!!" she yelled, her groggy morning sound muffled by her closed door.

"YEAH??" i yelled back, quiet enough that i hoped to not wake up our neighbors.

"SHUT UP." she screamed in reply. i flipped off her door as i continued to put away the mess that nala had somehow made. after i finished with it all, i walked over to her bed and turned the tv on, an episode of gravity falls playing in the background.

"how did you even manage to do that?" i asked as i moved my hand up and down her back. i stayed petting her for a few minutes, her soft purr ringing through my ears. sighing, my hand moved from her back as i walked back to the refrigerator. i grabbed out the nutella and opened a cabinet to pull out bread and an avocado. i softly twisted open the bag of bread and put four slices in the toaster, resting my head on my hand as i watched the tv, waiting for it to be done. i grabbed the avocado and split it, mashing it up. after about four minutes the toaster popped up, the bread perfectly toasted. i spread the nutella on two slices and the avocado on the other two. grabbing one of each and putting them on a plate, i moved over to the couch and ate my breakfast while finishing the episode on the tv. as i was eating i clicked onto twitter.

the first thing i saw was a tweet from dream, a picture of a plane window with the caption

@ GeorgeNotFound 👀

i began to choke on my toast as i ran to the replies. i quickly typed my response

so this is why you were up at 5 am today. "filming" my ass.

softly placing my plate down on the coffee table i ran into val's room. she was lying in her bed, scrolling through her phone.

"LOOK AT TWITTER. IMMEDIATELY." i said to her as she grimaced as the light from the kitchen creeped into her room.

"okay okay jeez," she said shifting to sit up, "you are so loud today."

"okay this morning was not my fault that was nala i don't even kn-" i tried explaining but was cut off by her abrupt gasp as she saw the tweet pop up on her timeline. i shook my head vigorously as she read it. we simultaneously looked at each other and covered our mouths. val quickly replied to his tweet

why didn't you tell us 😐

he answered a few seconds later

didn't want your big mouths to tell him ;)

we gasped at his response and val immediately clicked out of twitter and went onto the imessage app, texting clay a lot of things that i could not repeat.

i brought her the other two pieces of toast. she thanked me and i went back to the kitchen to clean up my plate and put it in the dishwasher. i then walked into the bathroom and got in the shower. as i was showering, my phone buzzed on the sink.
