chapter eighteen

"okay when you told me you were good I did not expect this." he said and he motioned his hands to my multiple buckets filled to the brim with tickets. i laughed in response

"how about a few more games and then we'll find the others and cash out." he agreed as we walked around the last few games before meeting at the prize counter. i was third in line and was waiting for my turn up at the counter when i saw all the prizes in the area. most were the usual small prizes you get for a smaller amount of tickets but, i didn't want just them. it was finally my turn and i made my plan.

"so that will be 11,032 tickets for everything so far, but you still have about seventy five tickets left so you can pick up one more thing." i looked in my hands to see the miscellaneous prizes i had all ranging from t-shirts to headphones to a computer mouse to lots of candy. i looked around the counter to find something i could fit in my hands while still paying for it. a small red button with the word "bruh." caught my eye. i couldn't help but laugh as i pressed in the bright red covering and heard the sound it made. i picked it up and brought it to the lady at the counter, using up my final points and stepping out of the way. i ran to put my winnings in the trunk of the car and then walked back into the arcade while i waited for my friends. i saw george walking over to me with his hands behind his back.

"guess what?" he asked as i looked at him suspicious.

"what...?" i responded with.

"BOOM," he said, "this is for you." he smiled as he pulled out a medium sized teddy bear from behind his back. i gasped as i walked up to him, taking the bear in my arms and hugging it tightly.

"i love it so much. thank you." i said giving him a kiss on the cheek which made him blush. soon enough all our friends joined us and we walked out of the arcade, preparing to make the journey home. clay pitched the idea that we should stream when we got back to the house, we all thought it was a great idea. we pulled into the driveway and walked into the house to get ready for the stream, prizes in hand.

i finished making my temporary streaming setup, placing the teddy bear george has won for me behind me on the bed before getting on the discord call. sapnap, george, dream and i thought it would be fun to do a little bedwars stream. everyone else was downstairs watching cars 1, not wanting to join in. i tweeted out that i was live, and the chat started rolling in. filling up with greetings and questions.

"hey guys! today will just be a chill stream, dream, sapnap, george, and i are playing bedwars!"

i hear the other boys say their hellos, as i logged onto hypixel and inviting them to my party. they all joined and i pressed the 4 player bedwars game. we started to gather iron and gold, they started buying materials and swords to fight and build across to other islands, while i tried to protect the bed since i'm not as good with pvp. i was doing well until someone dropped down and started to hit me. i screamed for someone to come help me but they were busy fighting their own battles. as i respawned they were about to break our bed, when dream came back and killed them.

i let out a sigh of relief, and start laughing. a donation comes in and calls me a "trash player", i put my hand up to my heart and pretend to be hurt quickly laughing it off. i decide the bed was protected enough after fixing the damage with some end stone and wool. i bought a stone sword and started to bridge across to where sapnap and george were fighting a team. i sneakily broke their bed and helped kill the final member. since the red and blue team were eliminated, it was just us and yellow left. both team's beds were already destroyed (george's fault), so we just needed to kill them. as we bridged across, however, i got shot with an arrow and knocked off the edge of the map.

the eliminated screen pops up, i facepalmed as the boys start to yell at me. i looked down and saw the 'bruh' button on the floor near me. i reached out and grabbed it, holding it up for the stream to see and pressing it hard.

Bruh.

the button sounds out, making me, sapnap and dream burst out with laughter, george being too distracted with pvp. i tried to control myself as i spectate george's player. i look over to see the chat spamming "LMAO" or "SOMEONE CLIP THAT." i laugh and continue spectating.

"WAIT BABE YOU DIED?!" i heard george scream and i tensed up hearing what he just called me. i start to laugh to fill up the silence, the boy's following suit, i knew they are going to tease us about this later.

"yes i've been dead. catch up, george" i said with an eye roll, trying to brush off what just happened.

i was scared to check what the chat is saying, but i looked over anyways.

i blushed and turned back to stream seeing my team about to kill the final player. dream luckily got the last hit, ending the game in a victory.

"POGCHAMP" dream screamed, wheezing.

the chat was spamming pog and going crazy.

"congrats boys, sorry i died" i said while laughing.

after remembering the stream chat, i realized many of my viewers probably didn't know george and i weren't just together in relationship talk, but also together in real life. i got an idea and quickly texted george.

"stay on stream for a few more minutes. i have an idea."

"okay guys that's it for today! im gonna raid george's stream and then he will raid someone with all of our viewers combined. make sure you stick around for a while!" i winked at the camera and ended the stream off, dream and sapnap doing the same. i walked through our connected bathroom and stood behind george out of frame.

"let's see, we can raiddd..." he said scrolling through twitch trying to find someone, as he was beginning the raid, i walked up behind him and put my arms around his neck.

"oh and by the way, y/n is here. bye stream!" he said as the stream cut out. i began to laugh as i left the room so he could put away his setup.

i looked on twitter to see i'm being spammed with mentions of either my unfortunate death or my bruh button, but most of all with the whole 'babe' comment. i smiled and blushed and decided to tweet without addressing the whole george situation.

"thanks for the awesome stream everyone, especially to the boys for carrying me ;). anyways b r u h"

i hear a knock at the joint bathroom door, and saw george come in. he awkwardly sat down next to me on the bed, speaking first.

"y/n i'm really sorry, it just slipped out."

i smiled, bringing my hand to his hair, "george, i'm not mad at all. honesty i don't even mind. it's just a shock for the fans since we haven't really told them. also i guess that little bit at the end is my way of surprising the fans tonight so, i think we are tied."

he sighed and laughed, relieved, thinking that i was mad at him. he's was about to say something else as nick and clay barged in, bombarding us with their teasing. nick leaned against the door frame, smirking at us.

"so 'babe', huh?" he asked us, i could tell he was biting down laughter as he teases. i looked over to see george just as flustered as me.

"shut up" he mumbled, making me let out a giggle.
