Wakfu Part 11

I catch a potion that almost hit Evangyline and stand up.

Evangyline:What?!

Amalia's Doll:Smash! Destroy!

Before the doll could throw another potion,I used a bit of the ice mist to quickly surround and froze Amalia's doll. I walk over to the doll and put back the potions to its place.

Jake:Red eyes,brown sharp teeth,no other external change,any explanation Nausica? | Nausica:There's a magical bond between that doll and Amalia. It's like an extension of herself. | Evangyline:So if Amalia's ill,her doll goes nuts? | Jake:*picks up the frozen doll* Looks like it.

I place the doll beside Amalia and continue to cool her body to a safe margin,slowing down the venom's spread.

--Yugo--

Ruel:Here we are. We'll continue on food from here. Good dragonturkey,don't run away and leave us behind,ok? Good boy.

Ruel:These creatures aren't as dumb as they look you know? You can even teach them tricks! | Yugo:Not now Ruel,we gotta get back before sunset!

So,they head into the forest.

Yugo:A tree with glowing sap. That shouldn't be hard to find! Don't worry,nothing escapes a tracker of my skill. Ugh,I am getting a bit hungry though. I can eat a boowolf if I could. There must be something around here that I could nibble. Didn't Jay give you some food? | Yugo:Yeah,but it was on my dragonturkey,so... | Ruel:Oh,that's a shame...

Ruel spots a bright yellow cattail,so he speeds to it and sunk his teeth for a bite. A loud roar came from below them and another yellow cattail revealed itself. Suddenly,they were lifted into the air as a very large bug begins flying to the sky.

Ruel:My bag,my bag! Its stuck!

Ruel's bag got stuck between some branches,but was luckily holding to his shovel. He pulls his shovel closer and got the bag free,which rocketed high them into the air as his bag falls down. Without hesitation,Ruel jumps off the bug and chases after his bag,leaving Yugo on top of the bug.

Ruel,with his shovel,grabs the bag as a large monstrous creature emerged from the forest and threatened to eat Ruel. Coming out of a portal,Yugo tackles Ruel out of the way and descends down to the forest. After crashing through a few branches,Ruel caught himself with the last branch and was safe. Yugo simply made another portal and landed on solid ground.

Ruel:Thanks a lot! | Yugo:You owe me one pops!

They both share a laugh before a shadow loomed over them. Two plants with sharp rows of teeth hold a grin.  They open their jaws and slowly came closer.

???:Stop! Woah my darlings!

Yugo and Ruel turn around to see a rather old,unkempt Sadida standing behind them.

Old Sadida:It's been a long time since we had any visitors around these parts! | Yugo:We? Who's we? | Old Sadida:*picks up a rock* We are so lonely,ain't that right my old friend? You're a naughty rock aren't you?

(Author looks at the very dialogue he just written,holding a disgusted look as he start to hope that she doesn't continue her "dirty talking")

Ruel makes a sound toward Yugo as he points to his head and circles his finger,indicating that the Sadida has gone crazy.

Yugo:Excuse me ma'am,our friend has been poisoned and we're searching fo-- | Old Sadida:*cackles* You want the Severum? Well Sybannak can take you there!

Ruel and Yugo hold surprised faces,fortunate that they found a guide that can lead them straight to the tree itself. So,they start following Sybannak deeper into the woods and later into her own house.

Sybannak:When the chaos came,the whole forest changed. All the Sadidas left and they forgot to wake poor Sybannak...

Ruel:Hm,I'm beginning to understand why. | Yugo:Shh!

Sybannak:Sybannak felt so lonely,oh yes! So,so lonely,but she found some new friends. | Ruel:This is all very interesting you know,but,you see,we're in kind of a hurry. So,um,where is this Severum tree?

Sybannak:Oh...the Severum tree...it's near HERE but far away at the same time.

Ruel:Hm,this is not gonna be easy.

Sybannak:Sybannak will show you the tree,but you must be nice to Sybannak,very nice! Her footsies are all so sore...

Jake:In this world,there will be people who will try to take advantage of your situation,so it's important to learn on how to read people to make the best decision. Take note of their posture,body language,the tone of their voice when they speak,and their eyes. By doing this,you have a rough estimation of who they really are,so rely on your intellect and wisdom to not be taken advantaged of.

Ruel:*massaging Sybannak's foot* Yuck! This isn't a foot,its a bwork hoof! | Sybannak:Ah,Sybannak is feeling much better! | Yugo:So,can you tell us where the Severum tree? | Sybannak:Sybannak will now tell you everything.
