--Jake--
The next morning, we were at the ship Ruel payed for with his kamas, enjoying a conversation with him, Dally, and Cleome. Eva and Amalia came by and were surprised to see her here. I'm particularly more surprised towards them as they had mosquito bites on their exposed skin.
Eva:Cleome? | Cloeme:Hello Eva! Yeah, I know what you're going to say. I gave my Cra promise to go back to the city, but I have my fingers crossed, so it didn't count!
Ellaine:Cleome? Can you help me raise the sails? | Cleome:Sure thing Elaine! Sorry sis, looks like we'll be traveling together for some time after all.
With the ship ready, we head out to the Crimson Claw Archipelago. Ruel entertains himself with Junior while Dally goes on his shtick with being seasick. Cleome did helped him as she performed a trick, however, I can feel Eva's gaze on Cleome when she did it.
The next moment, however, her sister made Dally lay down his head on her lap, making Eva very angry. Amalia had to hold her back so their sibling drama doesn't worsen. Meanwhile, Ellaine started a conversation with Yugo and it ended up to him telling his whole story.
Several minutes has gone by and Yugo suddenly lets out a short scream, grabbing my attention immediately.
Ellaine:Yugo? What's wrong? | Jake:Yugo, hey, you still here? | Yugo:Ye-Yeah, I'm fine... | Jake:I think I know that sound. Was it your brother? (Yugo nods)
He gives me a pat on the shoulder and teleported up to the crow's nest. Two hours past by and everyone was getting worried as Yugo stares into the distance.
Ellaine:He was telling me about your adventures until when he suddenly froze up, and then he climbed up there. | Jake:Its been a good two hours... | Amalia:What's the matter with him? | Jake:I don't know, its most likely about his brother. | Ruel:And we're getting closer to the goal. It couldn't be easy for him.
Dally climb up the rope and eventually reach Yugo. I can hear them talking, but Dally vomited another batch of vile back down to starboard.
--The next day--
The sun starts to rise over the horizon as Amalia leans on the pillar of the crow's nest and yawns while I stretch my body.
Cleome:Sadida'd at dawn, will scare away a grawn! (giggles)
Amalia grabbed the fish that Az caught and threw it at Cleome square at the face.
Amalia:Cra who give me sass will get my foot in the a--
I immediately released all of my power and revealed by blue eyes. The boat sunk a bit while Cleome, Amalia, and Eva struggled to stand up from the choking amount of pressure I'm exuding.
Jake:*laced with anger* Look, if you're gonna go at it, do it at least before lunch. Its morning and we haven't even eaten breakfast yet. You two do this again, I'm sending you both back to your homes.
I stare at Cleome and Amalia and they nod quickly. I let out a sigh and recede my power, making the boat float normally again.
Jake:ᴵᵗ'ˢ ʷᵃʸ ᵗᵒᵒ ᶠᵘᶜᵏᶦⁿᵍ ᵉᵃʳˡʸ ᵗᵒ ˢᵗᵃʳᵗ ᶠᶦᵍʰᵗᶦⁿᵍ.
I head over to Yugo, Ruel, and Percedal as they prepare the grill. Yugo and I grab some fish that was jumping above the water like dolphins and toss 'em to the grill, cooking them up. I grab the salt and a bowl in my haven bag and sprinkled a pile of it for us to "dip" our fish in.
Pirate Squid:We're having fried fish for breakfast! | Ellaine:Daddy! Those are Cloonsnappers! Do you want bad luck to strike the ship?! | Pirate Squid:*grabs a cooked fish* Are you sure these are Cloonsnappers? | Ellaine:Yes, even though they look good. | Pirate Squid:*starts panicking* Then we're doomed!
Jake:Mm, just a bit overdone, but the salt compliments it nicely. | Pirate Squid:These fish have a knack for being the best of the whole ocean. (gobbles up a fish) Tasty! Now, what were we saying again? Oh right, a terrible curse.
Ellaine:*shocked* I don't believe it! | Percedal:Meh, don't worry! We're experts on cursed boats! Can't be worse than an albatrocious! | Eva:*cover her ears* I'm not listening to this. | Ellaine:Am I missing something? | Percedal:*laughs* Hey Yugo,Jake! You see how scared they are?
Amalia:Bunch of Iops! You're gonna give us bad luck again! | Ruel:You can talk, bringing a woman on a ship is already bad luck, and there's four of you!
A huge wave went under the ship and made everyone loose their footing.
Jake:I promise you that wasn't me! (a giant tidal wave begins to loom over us) | Percedal:Uhh, does everybody know how to swim?
