Hearing the doorbell quickly made Lizzie sit up. She looks at Hailey with wide eyes and says, "No way." By this time, Hailey has already sat up. She faces Lizzie and says, "You don't know that it's Jay." Lizzie suddenly gives a mischievous smile and says, "I didn't say anything about Jay." Hailey immediately fell silent as she realized she was just caught assuming it was Jay. Any more conversation between them was cut short when the doorbell rang again.

Hailey stood up from Lizzie's bed and walked out the room with Lizzie following behind her. They walked down the stairs then finally reached the door. Hailey reached for the doorknob, she twisted it and opened the door. She was now looking at her partner, Jay Halstead, their eyes immediately locking with each other. Everything around them faded into nothing again as both of them felt something like the need for each other.

Behind Hailey stood Lizzie, she could feel the intense moment the two were having. She slowly made her way to the staircase and as she went up the first few steps, but she completely forgot about the step that creaked. She stepped on it and the sound of the creak echoed through the house. Her eyes were wide in utter shock like a deer caught in headlights.

Hearing the creak made Jay and Hailey snap out of their moment as they looked at the origin of the sound. "I'm sorry!" They immediately heard Lizzie say as she ran up the stairs to her room. Hailey and Jay looked at each other again as they slightly laughed at the incident. After a few moments, Hailey invited Jay in. They made their way to the couch and sat down next to each other.

"So?" Hailey asks, curious as to why Jay visited her. Jay turned to look at Hailey. As their eyes met once more, they were back into the moment they had a while ago. After a few more moments, Jay's hand unconsciously strikes Hailey's cheek and pushes a strand of hair out of her face.

Hailey could feel the warmth of Jay's hand on her cheek. His thumb lightly stroking her cheek. She leaned onto his hand. Their blushing faces slowly moved closer and closer to each other. They knew they were only moments away as they could feel the warmth of the other's exhaled breaths. Finally, Jay made the first move as his lips touches Hailey's. The sun had set by now and the night sky was now present, but for the couple on the couch, the night was still young.
