Clueless and Discovering

Haileys POV
It has been two month since Jay asked me to move in with him. I was already living with him but we got a bigger house where we already had a nursery. My belly had started to show to the point where we had to tell the team. Today we had a doctors appointment to find out the gender. We had put together papers to adopt Isabelle since there was a whole legal problem with DCFS and all that crap. Me and Jay were legally her parents. Jay had been acting weird all week but I'm just thinking those are just nerves from today's appointment. We were on our way to the appointment and Jay didn't say a single word. Once we got there we were greeted by Will. He looked at Jay with a grin and he showed us to a room. That grin was not a normal grin. I didn't think to much about it as I laid in the bed. Moments later the obstetrician came in.
"Good morning. Are you ready to find out the gender?"
"Yes" we say in union
"Ok" she put the gel on my stomach and wiped the ultrasound machine across "congratulation, you've got a healthy little girl" I smiled and jay kissed the top of my head. We took the ultrasound photos and left.

Jays POV
The reason I've been acting a little off today is because I want to ask Hailey to marry me. The whole unit knew about it and Will and Isabelle of course. I picked up the ri g last night. Tonight was the night. I told Vanessa and Kim if they could take her to the place and they of course agreed. The day was slow because there was no case. At the end of the day I leave
"Where are you going?" I heard Hailey ask from behind me
I just grinned and put my finger up to my mouth and kept walking. I picked up a tux from the house. I rushed to the restaurant and I got our reservation. I waited until I saw Hailey walk in
"Hailey" I say na should up to her
"What is this?" She asked
"Just a little surprise" I say and kiss her
"What's the occasion"
"You'll see"
I show her to the table and we order our food. Once we were done eating I got up and got on the ground on one knee. Haileys' eyes grew wide.
"Hailey, I've loved you since I can remember and I want to spend the rest of my life loving you. You're the funniest, bravest, strongest person I know and I want to be your husband. So with that said-" I took out the ring "Hailey Upton would you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"
Hailey got tears in her eyes
"Yes" she said
I took the ring out of the box and placed it on her finger. I kissed her and the people in the restaurant started clapping.

Haileys POV
I can't believe he asked me. Right now this is the perfect end to this damn year. Out of nowhere Isabelle came out with the rest of intelligence smiling and clapping
"Congratulations!" They all say
"You knew about this?"
"Yep" Isabelle said and came to hug us
"Taken to all of you. You all are the best"
Cheers and all go around until it was time to go home. Isabelle was half asleep the car ride there and when we got there Jay had to carry her to her bed. Once she was tucked in we left to our room and laid on the bed
"I love you" Jay said
"I love you too" I say and we fell asleep together. Finally the happy ending we deserve. Or.... that's what we thought
